Ah! I thought I would never find anyone that agrees with me on that! I feel sorry for the man too. No, maybe he wasn't cut out to be president. But anyone that thinks being president is a one man job, is mistaken. It takes at least a hundred people. He has all these advisors and everything. He was a scared man who was president in the unluckiest time to be president.

I watched this clip right after seeing Rachel's city council speech. Is it a coincidence that you and she both criticized the establishment? ;-) I think not.

Your suggestion that GWB's atrocious presidency is due in part to his total lack of the requisite skills is reasonable; I didn't hear you excusing his conduct, just explaining the complexities. I thought you were wise to ignore the "personalizing-father" barb.
