Just want to point out for new players that he has six flasks not because his message was recommended but because the bonfire you start at gives you 10 every time, until kindled where you gain more, but since he used 4 already and then he went to a different bonfire you keep the extra one until used.

the easiest way to kill this boss is to climb to the top of the tower where the snipers are and do a drop attack and then run away, juke him, and run back to the ladder and just continually do that until he is dead

@PinchySkree Its not a grenade, its a firebomb. The thing that does the damage is the fire, if you walk into the fire around 2 to 3 seconds after impact it will still burn you whether it hits directly or not.

@johnnyNYecko you buy the bottomless box from a merchant down in the depths, after gaping dragon if I recall, so your still ok there. Honestly, don't worry about the undead berg merchant, you can pretty much get what he sells from the other merchants, and you must have gotten the uchigatana after killing him.

If your out of flasks and need health you can consume a precious humanity to restore your health, fully if i recall, it can also be used as a healing item whilst invading where you are forbidden to use flasks... Hope this helps people!

If you're really confident & on the ball..... quickly press the Y button to switch to 2 hands...... give him BIG whack ..... (just once....don't get greedy)....then quickly hit Y button again to switch back to shield....... and get that shield up again!!! Keep circling...... keep circling!!!!

This game is all about circling!!!!

To jump on the Taurus Demons head or any other mob/ boss if the occasion arises........ just target him and then (if you're using Xbox) just continuously press right bumper button & step off the ledge (don't jump!!!!) You're character will then automatically land on his head..... keep pressing right bumper to do maximum damage.

After you finally fall off...... run through his legs, then around behind him and then back up the ladder. Repeat process....

Best way to beat the Pikemen....... instead of waiting around for him to hit you..... just hit him once...... you'll only hit his shield & do minimal damage..... but that will then cause him to retaliate & take a swing at you. You block his swing ( or parry if you have your timing sorted)..... then straight away, whack him 3 times whilst he still off balance from his first swing & you'll drop him like a fly.

for that boss there is a sweet spot between his legs closer to his right i repeat his right(your left) one where its quite easy to avoid his attacks...just be wary and you can hack him down pretty easy without gettin hit..if you roll to that side and block an attack you have time to heal using flasks as well

Humanity: Needed to kindle Bonfires. A kindled Bonfire will grant more Estus Flasks than normal. Needed to reverse Hollowing. Reversing the Hollow effect makes you human again. In human form you're able to summon other players and/or certain NPCs to help with boss fights. You can also be invaded only when in human form.

Pushing guys off cliffs: If the item falls, you can quit the game and reload. The item will then appear on the ground in front of your character.

The knight that you kited can be defeated even at entry level. Only feasible way would be to keep backstabbing and hell die after a few of them. Your at the red dragon you can snipe his tail off with about 30 arrows and youll receive the drake sword which honestly is broken. if you want the game to remain a challenge do not get the drake sword.

Just a correction, if an item falls off a ledge, either die and go back to the area or reload the game. It'll appear right on the edge they fell off on. This is coming from a DeSouls veteran, works in both games.
