  • What about gold camo?

  • i didn't get that with the fish....

  • For the southwest U.S. Multicam camo is the way to go.

  • he had an Australian pattern one, but he kept losing it

  • Does this work with airsoft and would MARPAT be as good as regular woodland bdu's

  • @b3astlyairs0ft3r98 multicam is better than marpat

  • canadian digital bdu is wayyyy beter

  • no i disagree for woodland marpat shits on the bdu either marpat or cadpat

  • I just see some guy pointing at the ground. What's he pointing at? Must be camoflauged or something.

  • the best is german flecktarn

  • lol @ video response fail?

  • Wow i did not see anything except ground.

  • Of course the US is the best, yeh right.

  • @Riyun72 lets bet its a AMARICAN VID.

the say their the best but their navy got it ass kick by the the dutch .

and they train their marines for 90 days way too short again the got ass kickt by other countreys .

(only the navy seals are properly train and back here in the netherlands that our recrute standart training for marines)

  • "This is probably the most effective pattern you can use.."

    Then along came Multicam!

  • i don't care if the Germans are freaking nazis, no offense, they make great military equipment.

  • They aren't Nazis...They haven't been for over 60 years...

  • nazi is forbiden in germany..and yes they have the best equipment..i have about 10year old pants and it is still almost like new.great fabrics..wery good camo paterns.

  • and what do we learn in this video

    AMERICA GOT THE BEST CAMO...

but why you are dying like flies in iraq???

  • @fountedakis I do realize that you are not an American; however, comparing our brave soldiers to flies is very tasteless. It is a topic that you have no business making such comments upon. Yes, many people disagree with the war and the reasons for America having a presence in Iraq, there are even a great amount of Americans that would say being there is a horrible idea. The soldiers, however, deserve respect. They are not political figures, they are heroes that give the ultimate sacrifice.

  • @monotonelifestyle You handled that in a very professionel manner.

  • @fountedakis the problem with the war in iraq is that it isnt a traditional war. its a war similar to that of vietnam. U.S. soldiers cannot fire upon a terrorist because they could kill a civilian and be prosecuted in the US for it. Furthermore you shouldnt be talking smack on those who serve to protect people all over the world. INCLUDING YOU!

  • @Osochilled u now wy the army is got his ass kickt by gurillia ?no?

gurillia train in lisining to birds to track animals and humans u dont get that in ur 90 day rail as marine.(and they play i those mountains alitlle kids and they now it like no other)

  • @MrMovieduck i think you missed the point. i know why the army had problems in vietnam. that was not the point of the comment. the point of the comment was that Fountedakis compares american soldiers to flies. and i will not stand for that. ive had history classes, and ive watched my fair share of 'Nam documentaries. furthermore, if you are going to chastise me, use correct grammar. otherwise you come of like an idiot.

  • @Osochilled bet ur right .

  • british dpm and german flecktarn are amongst the best camo's out there

  • GUYS! That's an old video! There was no marpat, cadpat, multicam etc. at that time! He i's talking about "West Germany" so this video is from the time before 1990.

  • What about cadpat and marpat. The new multi cam is decent too, but i still prefer marpat. Often knowing how to use your camo is the most important thing. , simply putting it on isn't always enough.

  • ya i agree, the cadpat and marpat are probably better than the BDU's he's talking about at the end, personally, it all depends what environment you are in, i like both the cadpat and marpat, both work better than the other in different regions,, so its all about what your surroundings are..

  • what about the newly developed multicam?

  • Nice hitler moustache

  • lol good one i dont live in new york city lol i live like 2 hours out lol everyone thinks the city when i say new york!

  • im getting a ghille suit that fits the environment where i live (new york)

  • how about a building!!

  • are you gonna wear a big slab of concrete lol,jk

  • snipers normally dont wear ghillie suits in the desert lol, they wear a veil or mesh that covers their entire body.

  • Well I do

  • I thought the black one is for urban sniping for staying in the shades...

  • that's a good choice

  • shadows are still a couple hues darker than the darkest black cloth.. so even if you put on the darkest black clothing that you can get, you'll still be somewhat visisble.

  • OMG it LOOKS LIKE CARLOS HATHCOCK! RIP

  • whers the ghille suit???

  • The last camo he said add some natural camo ( grass, ferns, ect) and it will help.Ghillie suits alot of the time are made by the sniper.normally he will take lets say a base as in those pants or the shirt and add webbing.on the webing you can attach jute thread and burlap which is the basic ghillie.then wherever you are you add the natural vegititaion there(grass, ferns, ect.) I hope this helped!

  • @Armydude467 Agreed - I have a leaf-type suit Cabela's makes, bet it would beat anything their.

  • @Armydude467 It's having a coffee break with your spelling. ;)

  • the last one he shows is very very smiler to the British camo... but i would use the British camo over the US camo because it is more disruptive and the colours arnt as vibrant.

  • amazing video

  • sorry but I don't like the US woodland pattern.

As Obstgarten07 said before the pattern is to big.

I Prefer the German Bundeswehr Camo

  • its called flecktarn btw, and yes, it is awsome. but i have to say the new marpat is pretty sweet too.

  • Great. 5 Stars.

  • HeyHO i use the bdu its great in paintball for just lurking in the shadows lol people walk right past u recomend for anyone whos on a budjet for camo got mine for 40$ new that was 2 years ago and theres only a slight tear in the double lining :)

  • I think I'll just stick with my danish M84.

  • woodland isnt good! the pattern is to big...thats why the modern camouflage patterns like cadpat have a smaller pattern...

  • of course it would be the american one he's a yanki

  • Is this guy simply trying to sell you the yank bdu?!

  • only da clothes? not the shooting!?

  • cadpats better

  • agreed

  • DPM For The Win! :D

  • id have to disagree, the canadian cadpat is a better pattern in my opinion

  • not a bit too brownish then?

  • British DPM all the way.

  • I like the Finnish one :P

  • flectarn is alot better

  • mossy oak seems the best.

  • he said the best one was the American camo... but its 95% the same as the British camo... i dont get tht... really hes just sticking up for his country...

  • Is that a bad thing that he's sticking up for his country, maybe he just likes the american one because its just better...

  • whats better german flecktarn or woodland iam asking that queestion because you can see most modern camos are "little" like the digitals and if you see woodland its much bigger than flecktarn thx

  • Ghillie suits does the Job ten times better.

  • But a Ghillie suit is a hell of alot bulkier and harder to move in...

  • That may be True. But I will Risk it. This is another Name to SuburbanNinja8000.

  • Then again if you get one that fits your well You should not have a problem right? I Hope am right.

  • Any burlap ghillie suit will be bulky...

  • Yea... its just easier. You will Learn how to move in it.

  • And they're hot as fuck (trust me on that). Oh they are also a bit flammable.

The government doesn't make them standard issue for a reason ;-)

  • ye but try run around with a huge burden... ammo... food supply etc... through hot jungles and deserts... with a ghillie suit...

  • no1 runs in the desert with a ghillie suit on thats just retarded

  • @316sqnMitchell Not entirely true, Many snipers have a very rag suit made to look almost like garbage, or something natural in a destroyed building and such. An example is the vid photo to the right titled "Sniper".

  • @316sqnMitchell I'm guessing the desert ghillie run idea is another Call of duty influence.

  • @RussianSnipeU no it isn't. I've never seen a snipe/ counter-snipe run before, it's totally against training. The only time I'd see a sniper run would be on a speed march . Not to mention that any sweat lost in the desert would bring them closer to dehydration especially in a ghillie suit.

  • @316sqnMitchell actually as a sniper you can and should, the ghillie can ofcourse have all colours, you dont have to use natural vegetation with todays tech ;)

  • @TheAlsat yes you do, ether your joking or your a dumbass

  • i got the last one... but it is too dark for the woods here=(

  • i didnt even see a ton of them on te ground lol, they wont be seen...

  • i didnt even see that british one on the ground lol...

  • ilike the woodland it works good to

  • i like digital camo

  • There is something about I don't like. but Everyone is In tile to there own thinking.

  • 1:03 I didn't even see the green camo shirt there on the ground. Guess thats why its camoflage.

  • GHILLIE SUIT look it up

  • You're all wrong, the best suit was on show at the top right. It is the bolivian army tactical sniper suit, woven from male Yak hair.

  • but what if there was a massive rainbow??

  • 100% correct. American woodland bdu is the shit. This is the perfect starting block for a ghille suit

  • i didnt even see the british camo untill he zoomed in

  • IMO DPM is the best NATO pattern.

  • nor did i

  • me to i thought there were only 2 then he zoomed in and i was like ooh i want it

  • niether did i

  • i need a pair of desert for the summer

  • I prefer the woodland to the current Army ACU pattern.

  • lol i agreeeee the americal ones suck ase

  • screw the american, the british kicks arse!

  • omg i cant see anything hes pointing at it just blends in!! lol jk

  • its just the same for me.. fist when he started pointing at plain ground i go souspicious and saw that it atually was a shirt there :D

  • wats good for central oregon in summer/spring/fall??? I'm not part of a militia, but I hope to soon become part of one.

  • I really don't know what the climate is there. Maybe someone can answer this...

  • its hot hot hot. and dry. and sand and sagebrush and juniper trees. barely any grass.

  • "and this is my favourite its called the frumpy woodland blouse by lacoste" XD

  • I have the Ultimate Sniper Book. Very informative.

  • well said

  • what would you recomend for southwest minnesota during summer and fall?

  • Flecktarn

  • Most of the post-war tests of the nighttime desert camo proved that it actually made the wearer stand out at night when viewed through IR/nightvision.

  • BOOYAH woodland BDU's are badass. best camouflage is the ghillie suit tho cause its not a pattern.

  • i prefer prison jumpsuit orange

  • Me too

  • I disagree, too! There are many of billiant patterns. Better than your boring Woodland! German "Flecktarn" is also a great one.

  • I agree, flecktarn is one of the best considering that fact that it was developed in the 30s and is still almost as good as today's more modern digital patterns.

  • i disagree with this whole "american bdu woodland is the best." the patches of colour are much to big.

  • I agree !

It does not break up your sillhouette as well as other pattern would.

    British DPM is pretty godd.

  • depends on the area your in...besides camo is somthing you make when you get there

  • yes

  • muilticam its ace you can use it in the desert all the way 2 lightly snowed areas.

  • The best camo by far is cadpat.

  • Love cadpat for summer use when i airsoft

  • cadpat is best for temperate woodland and tropical jungle.

  • The best military camo is a ghillie suit lol

  • *LMAO* I agree!

  • for specialized use, yes, but not for day to day wear and tear

  • I have the 3 color-desert and it is very good for the type of woods that we got here...

  • I personally think 3 color desert is better than ARPAT when it comes to desert environments.

  • The best military pattern I've tried so far is German Flecktarn.

  • no usmc digital

  • My friend tried it, I saw him from miles away. It only works in certain environments and British woodland in the Autumn is not one of them.

  • it depends, cadpat temperate is better than marpat woodland, marpat desert is better than cadpat arid.

  • well me myself i like cadpat arid and temperate more but Marpat is more brown i tend to use it in the winter and use cadpat temperate in the summer

  • marpat woodland works well with rocky wooded areas, and yes when greens aren't as lush

  • the usa woodland camo is one of the worst you cant hide in a woodland with it

  • Actually, the digital woodland camo (which is the non-patented version of the MARPAT) is the best camo I have seen so far for woodland environment. The tiny squares break up your profile and let you blend nearly perfectly into your surrounding.

  • Definately. Just veg it up a lil bit and its one of the best patterns I've seen. Or not seen. Whichever way works for you.
