Still a fantastic performance at eighty years old! It would be toss up whether Perry Como or Andy still had the most left at this age. It will be interesting to see what Tony Bennett sounds like in his eighties! Andrew's incredible high notes, and not holding hte mic away from him!
If you would like to know what Tony Bennett sounds like in his eighties, I highly recommend that you purchase the album Duets: An American Classic. Tony Bennett recorded that album for his 80th Birthday. Tony still has it.
Oh, and by the way, I love Andy Williams here. How many of today's singers can sound this amazing in their eighties? My guess is probably none.
I have heard Tony Bennett's Duets and he still sounds fantastic. The only other singer who sounds this good in their eighties is Patti Page. She has videos up here as well. Listen to her "Doggie in the Window"!
Andy was and will always remain my huckleberry friend. I started to enjoy him and his music since I was eleven. Now, I am fifty and he still is with me. He will always be with me. Thank you, Andy! May God bless you!
I saw him twice in Branson! Great singer! One of the last greats alive! I miss Dean, Frank and all the ones that have passed on! Moon river was Andy's song!
When I was in the military in 1967, I think, Andy Williams had a summer show. Even though my wife and I were only @ 20y.o., we never missed a show and we were disappointed when there was no more.

What happened to his voice. It's just solid vibrato with a little voice left. His voice is pretty darn shaky, but then again, he's probably pushing 80. I wonder if Sinatra was still alive he'd do these kind of "specials of yesteryear?"
Andy Williams still has it - always will. He's timeless, classic as is is music. Stellar performer. Specials like this bring back good memories for some of us. Andy could sing nursery rhymes and make them gold. Eighty years old and his fan base continues to grow.
OH this sweet man. He still sends me with that wonderful voice... after ALL these years. I've been a fan of his since I was 5 years old. God Bless you Andy!
Yes, I've been his greatest fan for the last 40+ years. Lots of love and God bless you Andy!!
