At what point do you take the ball up and release it? I'm seeing that you take it up over your head. If you could tell me then that would be helpful. I'm trying to get the best possible shooting- release or shooting form I can get.

If you're looking to improve, try and make the transfer of power from your legs to your upper body smoother. It looks kinda abrupt now with your knees.
i start off with FTs before anything, then between every drill and whenever i get winded. there is no set number or time (then it would feel, to me, like a job), but i make at least 50 every time im in the gym. hope that helps.
tnx man, i used to make 100 to 150 free throws every other day and it would turn ok, but just after a week of not playing.. i tend to get an inconsistent shot.. what do you think is wrong?
and.. one more thing, i noticed that you dunk the ball pretty easy.. or its just your height? can you tell me any trick to improve my jumping as well.. tnx man..
sure its about repetition but you are not using your legs just relying on your arms, bringin them back to compensate for not using your legs. you seem to be pushing up on your toes though so maybe thats enough. if it works why fix it, everyone has their own style. good stuff

if you want a "textbook" form, you should look for a book on shooting technique. my technique is unique to me.

as far as your FTs, it's just like you said- a week of not playing will do that to your shot, plain and simple.
as far the jumping, i do a program called Air Alert 3 that has added several inches to my vert. email me and i'll send it to you.

its a part of my shot. free throws are all about repetition, identical movements each shot

sure its about repetition but you are not using your legs just relying on your arms, bringin them back to compensate for not using your legs. you seem to be pushing up on your toes though so maybe thats enough. if it works why fix it, everyone has their own style. good stuff
