It's funny, only in an '80s horror movie would high schoolers go to such lengths to pick on a nerd. I can see a girl setting him up for a kiss or sex only to pull a prank exposing him to others. But these kids not only do that, but also electrocute him and then rig a chemistry experiment to explode in his face. In real life, it'd probably be grounds for attempted manslaughter charges. It's so ridiculous, but I can't help but just love this movie. Great music by Harry Mandredini, too.
