Guess what? You guys lost the election, deal with it. Get ready for Rush to have to have a guy or gal on who will counter his lies and correct his mistakes. Way past time for that.
liberals must be stopped. To silence Rush, Laura, Sean, Glenn, Savage, just can't happen! We must revolt! The truth must be told! MSNBC and Chrissy and olberman can't be allowed to talk without others taking another view!
The word fairness Our government said that before. Indian removal policy was fair, the VA hospitals are fair, the stimuls's that reward only failing businesses for bad business is fair. Fighting wars that dont involve our national security fair. Erosion of civil liberties fair. If you turly support the fairness doctrine, create your own news station and follow it. So the poor people who are forced to watch the free news may have an escape to your fairness. I bet youll have a dozen fans slugga
Romani1969 is a fool bush did not allow troops to die muslim nazis killed them as they were bringing freedom to a country run by a Nazi Muslim. Bush was not responsible for katrina and its and the failure was at the state level. Blame Blanco
Obama's new Chief of Staff, the new "golden boy" of the Democrat Party, the Israeli-American congressman Rahm Emanuel is the son of a terrorist is set to become chief-of-staff, is the son of a member of the Zionist terrorist group Irgun, which was responsible for bombing hotels, marketplaces as well as the infamous Deir Yassin massacre, in which hundreds of Palestinian villagers were slaughtered.
Yeah well, 911Shaman, we've had someone like Bush for 8 years who sent this country to War. Someone who didn't do much for America when 9/11 happened; who didn't do much for New Orleans when it was hit by hurricane Katrina; who allowed 4,000+ American soldiers to die in Iraq just for his own agenda; and the list goes on and on. If and when Obama messes up that much, I will support your opinion, till then, sit back and relax.
Obama was quoted on lots of things like taxes will only go up for those making $250,000 uh $200,000 uh $150,000 I mean $120,000 a year. If he had said he was for the fairness doctrine it would have hurt his chances. Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Chuck Schumer are for it and those are the ones who write the Laws the Pres Just signs them. They'll try it all right because nobody wants to listen to Leftwing Talk Radio and they don't think that's Fair. They can't compete in that medium. So they will try
Obama was quoted on June 25, 2008 that he was "against" reimposing the fairness doctrine. This video is pure fabricaton, and another scare tactic by the Republicans.
I was a hardcore Dem about 20 years ago... only listened to ABC, CBS, & NBC, and was convinced those mean Reps were going to crush us all, election after election. Now, as a conservative, all I can listen to is Fox News and talk radio. The bias on ABC, CBS, & NBC is unbearable. Odd, isn't it... they're always the source of bad news to everyone ;)
Without talk radio people would only hear the lies of mainstream radio. I thank God for the enlightenment of Michael Savage, Rush and Shawn. Soon, all of our freedoms will be taken. Religion is being taken, freedom of speech. Won't be long, the government will control us all. What can you expect from a nation that keeps shutting God out? It is destined to crumble and mark my words-it will. God have mercy on us.
I, too, remember when we got only the news that the big three networks wanted us to hear. I listen to talk radio and there are a lot of young sounding people calling in to express their appreciation for hearing the truth. Keep up the good work!
You think Beck is innovative? Whatever. In any event, what the format needs to do is concentrate more on entertainment value (like it used to) and less on advancing a political agenda.
Talk radio is slowly dying. The format skews toward the very old and very conservative and as the audience dies off, it's not being replaced.
As far as the Fairness Doctrine is concerned, the burden of proof is on the people to seem to think the incoming politicos can't wait to re-install it.
It doesn't matter if you think it's innovative or not. The audience is there and the advertisers think it's worth paying for ad. If the people didn't find value in it it would die like Air America. If you don't like it don't listen but don't try to take it away from people who do. That's starting to lean a little too close to Fascism. Oh...and that's a bad thing.
For the record I oppose the Fairness Doctrine, but the greatest threat to talk radio is not from the Doctrine (it ain't coming back regardless of who gets elected), but from the format's own lack of creativity and originality. Talk Radio has become a sad parody of itself; we need to get back to a more entertainment-oriented approach.
What makes you think the Fairness Doctrine will not be back...and what would you like Talk Radio to do to be more creative anyway. I would say that commentators like Glenn Beck are quite innovative, but even with others, they have a system that works...why screw with it?
