Flight Tracker relies upon people setting up and running sites to get teeh ADSB data, and then send it to their website. New Zealand is simply not well covered and large areas often have no coverage.

If yuo want to ensure coverage at your area you should think about setting up a site yourself.

@newzealandembassy Clare's been recording and reporting on 'chemtrails' in NZ (particularly Northland) for at least a couple of years on her chemtrailsnorthnz website.

Nearest upper atmosphere readings would suggest conditions may have been conducive to contrails. At cruising altitude (~30000ft), temperature was -46C, hPa was 300, and rel. humidity was 6%. When plotted on the Appleman Chart it's in the 'maybe contrails' region.

Google: "Clare Swinney" "Appleman Chart" "Rugby World Cup" for a page on Clare's site that will show you how to figure out if trails are likely to be contrails or not.
