Magic Kingdom parade float breakdown

ok i've watched this thing maybe 30 ntimes but can't figure out which float broke down. i'm GUESSING it was the present w/ the lights on it since the tow is in front of it

now i see they DID tow it I thought the Gazebo had broke down.

why didn't they bring in the tractor and tow the float when it stopped that was a mighty long delay

The Tugs (the tractor) is placed at a specific point in the parade route so it is available for the ENTIRE route....think of it this way.....

That Tug has to travel it's way through the ENTIRE parade route to the point where the float is...PLUS...the Tug is driving through areas where performers are...not to mention guests...they can't exactly drive at top speeds.......

It is always funny watching a float break down. Before they replaced the liberty square bridge the spectromagic floats were always getting stuck.

I do too. They just reworked the Liberty Square Bridge. Spectro had to make some tight squeezes.

Have to say, though... I like the song from this parade better than "A Christmas Fantasy" at Disneyland. (This is the first time I've heard it... Thanks for sharing!)

It did go fine. Out in the real world cars, trucks, planes, motorcycles, tractors and all sorts of vehicles break down occasionally. Things happen. Saying someone's cheap because of mechanical failure is sort of a cheap shot. The reason that those CMs are scrambling is because they're VERY aware of a whole parade of their fellow CMs who will have to continue performing in place until they can get the show moving again. Things happen.
