It's been 16 years today when they were both killed in that tragic car crash. My thoughts are with their children especially edam's now 19 year old son who tragically lost both of his parents to this accident. He was only 3 years old at the time.
R.I.P. London Boys. You will definately be sadly missed.
whats great about this vid is the woman is wearing glasses & she hasnt been made to look geeky. I wear glasses too & got really pissed off with actors who were made to wear them & act geeky
As I say, I envy their dancing ability anyway, but that "side to side" move at 2mins 36secs is my favourite. To a dancer it may be an easy move I don't know, but to watch and see how perfectly in symmetry they are, that's impressive.
Thanks so much 4 uploading these London Boys tracks Helen. Your's are easily the best on youtube, with clear sound unlike some! I can't profess to be an expert on the London Boys, but I do know what I like music wise, and their songs always seemed very "catchy" to me.
Have you seen that track used on the Good Morming TV show which the lads guested on with fitness guru "Mad Lizzie"? Their dance moves make me green with envy every time I see them!
No, this is the original! SAW only ever made 2 remixes. After both Requiem & London Nights had become massive hits in the UK, SAW offered to make a 12" remix of both songs in addition to LONDON BOYS own original extended versions and 12" remixes. Except for these 2 rare 12" club versions all LB records came out of Germany.
really? because i had difficulty finding this particular version of this song on limewire, for instance. but i now have the extended version of this actual track on mp3, not that other version that is on you tube.
LONDON BOYS started out as early as 1985 and made it big in different countries around the world (especially in Asia) before they finally hit the UK in 1989. So they sometimes polished up singles from their LPs prior to releasing them in the UK. Check out "Harlem Desire" or even "Requiem" and you will notice the same effect.
Sorry, but SAW DID do 3 mixes for them. Pete Hammond remixed "Harlem Desire" and was issued promo only 12" in the UK. I have the promo and the mix is great, very much like Sandra's PWL mix of "Everlasting Love".
I really like this song. Maybe their best song ever!!!! When I bought the album million years ago. I always liked this song the most. It sounds so 'happy'. The melody is great.

These guys were huge in Korea back in the days. You couldn't go to a roller rink without hearing this and Kimberlay.
