  • Nice vid.

  • Great instructional video. Thank you!

  • Good money! Thanks a trillion for getting right to the point. Those other tutorials are waaayyy too chatty!!!

  • I have the same apple cider vinegar! XD

Thanks for this video, I never would have thought of the water bottle trick, I have to try that!

  • Hey ChocolateTresses,

Thanks for the measurement. I am going to add this step into my regimen.

  • does anyone know if you should condition after this or does conditioning defeat the purpose please someone help!!

  • @Genese242 i usually deep condition on dry hair first and shampoo my scalp and then I do the avc rinse. After that i apply my leave-in and moisturizer

  • @chocolatetresses thanks alot i will definetely be trying this after i take out these braids !

  • @chocolatetresses - Thanks I am going to do a ACV rinse on my relaxed hair, coz it is hard after my pre-poo and co-wash and I was trying to figure out how to do it ... Good Idea with the water bottle I have one and will be using it to do ACV-r Thank Mate, especially for the measurements... 1Tsp to 8 oz of H20

  • @Genese242 you can use conditioner after ACV rinse if you'd like but it is suggested to help moiturize your hair

  • @Genese242 I will state that I am Mediterranean, since the woman in the video is African and i do have to condition my hair after, but all I use is drug store/ target/walmart brands The one in my shower right now is Suave.

  • the ghetto way lol

  • thank you ever so much! i have been researching the acv rinse for sealing your cuticles and making your hair shiny, etc. etc.

yours was quick and to the point !! just what i needed at 12:25 am in the morning trying to do this for my hair after i shampoo!

  • Your usage of the water bottle was a great idea!! That's so much easier to apply to the hair!

  • can i use this on permed hair

  • yes

  • short and sweet presentation...thanks for posting.

  • can we use this acv mixture in dyed hair?

  • does it strip color???

  • I've never had color in my hair, so I don't know if it would or not. Sorry I wasn't any help.

  • its ok im going to do a stand test thanks for your help!!!!

  • @chocolatetresses thanks so much awesome video you seem really nice!

but does it leave ur hair smelling funky? or gross?

  • I just did some research for one of my subbies and YES it does strip the color. Since it is acetic acid (which is a clarifier, it can strip the hair). ACV should not be use on color-treated or processed hair!

  • thank u so much for that...guess i have to rinse it longer than normal lol!!!

  • @karmbaby i ue it on mine andit keeps mine fromwashignout as bad!

  • @karmbaby my locs are colored and i used this method and it has not stripped my color

  • @karmbaby No it doesn't.

  • @karmbaby it does not strip it but it may change the color

  • If anyone doesnt like the smell of acv when rinsing the hair put a smudge of downys liquid fabric softner into the mix, just a wollop it helps kill the smell, it works!!

  • Thanks for this video. I have been hearing some good things about ACV and have been doing research before I decide to use it, this definitely helps. Blessings~~~~

  • Great! Please let me know how it works out for you.

  • Great video! Quick and to the point. And you have a great personality! Very nice. =)

  • Thank you so much!

  • I heard this works really good so im gonna try it the next time a wash my hair... which is in a few days. But you only wash your hair once or twice a month? You know thats like washing your face once or twice a month right?

  • Great, give it a try and let me know how it works out for you, and I do shampoo my hair twice a month, but I conditioner wash weekly, even with my yarn braids and this system works great for me. I have a healthy scalp and moisturized hair.

  • Oh you cowash every week? Ok i was about to say!!! LOL but ill let you know how it turned out... hopefully i dont smell like AVC when i go outside.

  • The smell usually goes away about 15-20 minutes later.

  • great vid :)

so how many times do u apply that every week?

    thnx again for sharing :)

  • whenever I shampoo, and thats maybe twice a month.

  • thanx again! :) i'll try it out

  • does this turn relaxed hair back natural?

  • no, there is no way to reverse a relaxer, you must cut it off or grow it out.

  • hi

hope u r f9. sorry English is not my mother language. there for cany understand proparly. 1st we wash then.......... pz tell it again. i will be very thank ful to u.

  • 1. Shampoo hair

    2. Apply apple cider vinegar mixture

    3. Wait 2-3 minutes

    4. Rinse hair with cool water.

  • Do you do a second rinse after applying the apv..

    Regards,

  • yes, I do rince with cool water after I apply the acv

  • acv rinse made me gag. and my hair smelled that i had to wash it two more times and still there's a faint smell. sorry everyone.

  • add a few drops of tea tree oil and it wont smell as bad, and after a lil bit the smell from the acv will be gone also...

  • theres a trick to that sweety, if you have downys fabric softner(liquid) put a dab of it in there and it will kill the smell, and it will not harm the hair...good luck, let me know how it comes out...

  • Love it! Short and to the point!

  • thanks 4 the innovative bottle idea!!!

  • Great video! Thanks so much for posting. I've been wanted to try the ACV rinse for a while.

  • are that you blend condition it with the hard cider of apple and water and then you rinse? thank you

  • I kinda didn't understand the question but I shampoo then rinse that out, then I apply my AVC,let it sit for about 3-5minutes, then rinse and I may or may not apply conditioner

  • Thanks for the tips!

  • love the bottle idea... recycling....GO GREEN!!!

  • Do u rinse after u do the acv rinse? Or just leave it in?

  • i usually apply a deep conditioner so it does eventually get washed out, I'm sure you could leave it in and just detangle with what ever you detangle with.

  • Thank you for the ideas and measurements!

  • The water bottle idea is great!

  • do you condition after the rinse?

  • Sometimes, it depends on if I have enough time to deep condition and sit under the dryer, but if not i'll just put add a leave-in conditioner and style.

  • can you do this-- with co-washing instead of shampoo...

  • I'm sure you can, the purpose of the AVC rinse is to balance the ph in your hair from the stripping that shampooing can cause, basically conditioning it.

  • This is such a neat idea!

  • Hey CT,

Happy transitioning! You won't regret it!

    Yay SWAC: I'm an Alcornite!

  • your welcome! i'm so glad that this video helped you out. thanks for watching and subbing.
