  • I have experienced being with a child who had this mild cerebral palsy.

  • mine effects my right legs too and I used to walked on my toes and I had to get surgery done to correct my walking and after the surgery I did therapy until I was 16 and I'm walking with my foot down and being independent.

  • Most people make fun of people who have disabilities because they don't understand that there different. I've been there and it wasn't fun. And now I made lots of friends that have different disabilities and friends who understand I'm who I am they look at me like I'm a normal girl. Don't worry you are who u are and that's what matters.

  • I know how u feel I have CP as well and it's mild. I remember lots of kids would ask me questions and make fun of me and say rude things to me just because they didn't understand I was different.

  • I would like to know why people make fun of people like me?

  • This video is very helpful. My daughter is 4 and was diagnosed with mild Cerebral Palsy Spastic Quadriplegia at the age of 6 months. As the doctor explained, although mild, her deficits are very profound in that she has delayed speech and cannot walk unassisted due to balance and issues with spasticity and toe walking. I have always wondered how her condition could be considered mild given the issues I have described above. So, thank you again for the clarification.
