mine effects my right legs too and I used to walked on my toes and I had to get surgery done to correct my walking and after the surgery I did therapy until I was 16 and I'm walking with my foot down and being independent.
Most people make fun of people who have disabilities because they don't understand that there different. I've been there and it wasn't fun. And now I made lots of friends that have different disabilities and friends who understand I'm who I am they look at me like I'm a normal girl. Don't worry you are who u are and that's what matters.
I know how u feel I have CP as well and it's mild. I remember lots of kids would ask me questions and make fun of me and say rude things to me just because they didn't understand I was different.
@NerdMeech I was born with mild CP too. people would make fun of me and/or ask me why I walk the way I do, honestly I just want to cry, I tell them my leg just hurts.
hi im 13 i have cerebral palsy . and it affects my legs . everybody is always like "why do you walk like that ? " and it's like i have brain damage do you think i choose to walk like this ? I so wanna walk like a freak . but likee.. idk . i just like lean forward kinda i guess .. not really .not as much as i used to . but i could have learned to walk maybe before they did so many surgeries , ?

@Thehappyrubberduck Wow, it really helps me to see that people my age also have mild cases of cerebral palsy. i am only 12 but i turn 13 soon. I was just diagnosed two days ago. My left foot is very messed up and my left arm just flops around all bent up when i walk. (i CANNOT RUN for my LIFE)
Well all you can do is try, nothing bad, this guy who has it likes me but its hard.. i know i'll get teased as well, but your doing good, keep it up : )
This video is very helpful. My daughter is 4 and was diagnosed with mild Cerebral Palsy Spastic Quadriplegia at the age of 6 months. As the doctor explained, although mild, her deficits are very profound in that she has delayed speech and cannot walk unassisted due to balance and issues with spasticity and toe walking. I have always wondered how her condition could be considered mild given the issues I have described above. So, thank you again for the clarification.
