Nice video man! I was there but just down the track about 1/4 mile. Too many people in town. The cop's are a little silly though. I guarantee that the track will clear as the 844 starts rolling.

Nice one man 5***** Rule #1 never catch the steamers in crowded areas, I usually go out in the country and catch it. Only time I ever go out in the crowd is when they make a whistle or service stop.

well yes its to bad when its to crowded and to get a clear shot of train its almost impossible i know this for a fact when 844 came down to texas, so i just give up of ppl in front of my camera and focus on enjoy more by my own

That was an amazing trip. The brakeman, Kevin Coker was leaning off the edge of the Feather River waving to everyone through Kirkwood. If you look close you can see me kneeling down behind him with my camera. Sucks about the cop, i guess she hasnt dealt with foamers before.

HAHAHAHA Kevin I was cracking up when i think you said "What the f*** you doin?" Then when you go "People piss me off" HAHAHAH .....I felt the same way I was at Eureka and alll these retards where on the tracks so UP maintinence had to get them to stand clear, and this one dude who clearly saw me got in front of my camera so I moved...People piss me off sometimes too..

Looks as if the bearing issue got fixed. Seems as if everytime they run 844 a bearing goes out. 1982 looked clean! Good turnout and on most runs they don't "stage" train stops unless embarking or debarking passengers to ride. Considering this route was so publicly promoted this was a nice jesture on the part of UP so the public could get pics and not drive so dangerously chasing it for runbys. Good catch

i heard the people that live in that area are gonna sue UP for pollution lack of crowd control disturbing the peace and whatever else they can sue for im sure they got some A hole lawyer that likes too get a quick buck

@CarNutandTrainNut2 Never did see the UP Police! I guess with this train going through all of the towns the local police had to take over for crowed control. I am sure UP set it up that way.

Hey Kev,

Up Police usually hang out at the Kirkwood station.

Like how this dumb cop drove onto the crossing with the signals on and told everyone else to move, talk about do as I say, NOT as I do LOL.

I got this unit in Pacific Mo there were only about 10 people waiting there.

Never go to Kirkwood when something special goes through.
