  • WE NEED TO BRING BACK THESE DAYS. REMEMBER cross color, ewing the first pair, the bart simpson shirts.....

  • i wish arrested development was less afrocentric in a way all races can listen to it without being judgemental, kinda like bob marley. this is great music yet i'm a little hesitant about it because i'm not black. i've always felt this way about "good" hip-hop.

  • If you guys are in Atlanta, Speech of Arrested Development is having a concert September 12th. Just send me a message for more details.

  • I CAN'T HELP BUT ROCK FROM SIDE TO SIDE WHEN I HEAR THIS

    <3 IT !!

  • feel good trip!!!

  • Ahhhhh! This song makes me one of the happiest people on Earth when I listen to it. I wish thing were this simple now.

  • the 11 people who voted this down has no soul.

    Volume needs jacking up.

  • Such a feel good song & so uplifting!n

  • perfect song!!! there is no more good sound and music like this generation!!!

  • I remember paying for this song on "The BOX" over and over again.... love it!!

  • this is music from the soul.....one love people....!

  • Just had to listen to this song. Sounds good!

  • Its nice to flashback to a time where music wasn't all about sex, drugs, and money, No pyramids, baphomet, satanic salutes or mass propaganda. No hidden occultism

  • @umustwantme Yes u are soooo right!!!!!

  • the world isnt given a positive message anymore. they need it.. but they dont hear it. all they're being given and all they hear is.. how many "Millie" i hav, how many ho's i'm surrounded wit, how many cars i hav, etc. ..bring back the days of music (like this here) wit a positive vibe! we can dance to dat in da clubs.. really, i swear we can!

  • I dont consider them lyric I consider what they spit is poetry

  • BEST ARRESTED DELOPMENT SONG!

  • One of the best songs and videos EVER!

  • this song is true ,life has change is so many ways some good some are bad we look down on each other still and not look at the goodside of a person.i miss this time.

  • they were like the rap version of PUBLIC ENEMY.never afraid to sing on OUR social problems.

  • IIIIIIIIIIIII am everyday people. yeah yeah yeah yeah.... Been dancing to this all day. Class A song, makes me feel really happy and cheerful, everytime I listen to it.

  • Damn this is just feel good music. I can't believe that the new generation of kids actually think lil wayne and all that other bullshit is better than this REAL hip hop. It's sad really. The old hip hop jams were so much more creative and raw, music from the soul. Rap nowadays is all about makin that paper and just being a tool. Underground hip hop for life.

  • @TheRunyan78 They don't, my bro is 26 and I'm 22 and we think it's shit. We were so excited when we heard Lil Wayne was going to jail for crimes against music.

lol, I honestly don't know anyone who actually likes Lil Wayne, maybe his mixed tapes...but mainstream Lil Wayne is just unbearable.

  • true school hiphop

  • I looove this song. It has a great meaning and a awesome beat.

  • Black man taking a stomping by an African... i like

  • this is my most favorite arrested deloopment songs!

  • I loved this!!!! Still do!

  • tezka pohodovcicka :) super pisnicka na road trip do auta :)

  • OMG, I heard this song once in my life back in Former USSR and could not remember who sang it...i just stumbled on it...after almost 18 years!!! I LOVE THIS SONG!

  • @uzabo cool

  • good vibes...

  • i can totallly relate to this song, I'm a first nation woman and we are oppressed by whites especially from the governments, they took our chidren and placed them in religous schools in the hopes to assimilate, but no we are still going strong, we still have years of healing to do, this music is healing to any nationality that's been oppressed by white man governments, Ekosani (thank you)

  • Is it true that africans started every kind of music and every kind of dance styles...to me YES!

  • @Tacos209 thats rite

  • damnn, this type of music really hits the spot! too good!!

  • Great song

  • Oh this is my shit.

  • i like dis song..remember wen i was a little gurl

  • Love this video and this old rap group! I like how this group is actually progressive and does not feed the usual racist stereotypes of black rappers always smoking crack, whoring and killing each other. This video isn't all about hos hanging around a thug, but about accepting each other and loving African culture!

  • THIS IS REAL AND NICE

  • Tremendo tema!

  • This was my favorite : )

  • i saw them live, they were amazing!!

  • Dam!! I had their album on Casette!!! This album is GREAT!!! I

  • BEST SONG

  • beautiful

  • @bogger12345679 haha whites bitches

  • @smookylaa touche

  • @bogger12345679 fuck you you racist asshole. go kill yourself

  • I LIKE THIS SONG!!!!!!!

  • This song was my anthem back in 92! Thanks for posting!

  • good uplifting music!!!

  • First of all i hate those FUCKIN COMMERCIALS! Secondly how is a big biscuit realated in any way to an insurance company? Fuck American commercialism

  • @gufniata haha i agree, they can`t help but put some kind of ad on something, thank you america ha

  • I went to Amazon and all they got is the live version and the remix - not the original one (this one). Where can I get the real deal?

  • @effsixteenblock50 you could just got another youtube video with just the song not the music video, and then convert the video into a mp3 file, just an idea

  • those fools who dont like this song they dont what they are listening too so holla bak fools

  • This song uses a melodic element from Kool & the Gang's "Funky Stuff" -- listen for the sax at 3:47. It sounds really close to the horns at the end of Kool's jam. Unless the sax in this song is already sampled?

  • It was so goooood back in the daysss!

  • simply 90'sss

  • I love Speech. This group was from the South...rural...they were the anti-thesis of urban hip hop. Go take a look at their live performance of this song a few years ago in France

  • esto si es música carajo

  • yyyyyaaaaaa love this!!

  • This is one of the greatest songs of all time. I miss these days when things were so simple. Now and dayz kids are spoiled and don't know nothing. This is my jam!

  • @MrDweber1980 Well im someone that you might considered a "kid"...im 20 and im not spolied(priveleged perhaps) and I know plenty. I know enough to know that "dont know nothing" is a double negative, and that your entire statement is a generalization. I also have EXELLENT and DIVERSE taste in music. Perhaps you should be more careful of the way you state things because all of us "kids" are not as stupid as televison and music would have you believe.

  • @MrDweber1980 comon cliche

  • This group made a big impact on my perception of life when growing up and what matters in this world... respect!

  • I've made a huge mistake

  • What's the deal with the old black guy dance at 3:36? That's wack

  • @outlawrw traditional African dance...it's BEAUTIFUL!!!!

  • @outlawrw That's Baba Oje, one of the members of Arrested Development.

  • A Classic!

  • timeless

  • Remember bumping this and Digable Planets 'where i'm from' (remix)?

  • Yessss hey !

  • One of the all time greats yet again!!!!

  • Talk about being on the bottom rung of the ladder....

  • my new favorite old song.....

  • bir ba ba ba bir ba ba ba he bir ba ba ba eh!! klassic shit here!

  • @01342663563 this isnt the real south because there from wisconsin

  • love this jam. i wakeup thinking abut it so i had 2 look it up

  • Great song. back when music was real

  • I used to own the original Cassette tape for this album =) I remember listening to it for hours every day this is some of my favorite rap still even with all this new garbage they make.. love the deeper meanings to their lyrics =)

  • Arrested Development was fye!

  • -Everyday People

  • actually listen to theyre verses its deep

  • iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii am everyday people

  • 2:23- 2:43 is my favorite part

  • Who cares?

  • Sometimes people need to know that some other people think the same as them (don't know if it is said right, but I guess you could understand the meaning)

Don't understand that behaviour , just something I noticed :)

  • the intro is amaazin

  • I told the niggaz please let us pass, friend

I said please cause I don't like killing Africans

but he wouldn't stop and I ain't Ice Cube

but I had to take the brother out for being rude

and like I said before I was mad by then

It took three or four cops to pull me off of him

But that's the story y'all of a black man

acting like a nigga and get stomped by an African.

  • 3:36 in this song is my favorite part of the WHOLE SONG !!

  • I've come to the conclusion that anything in the entertainment business with the name Arrested Development is great. Great tv, and great music.

  • i hope the tv show paid them to use that name though

  • Lol, they did sue the show and got paid for the use of their name.

  • real niggaz......lol....thats whats up!!!!!!

  • now this is a feel-good song.

  • putain; j'adorais cette chanson à l'époque, mais que sont ils devenu?

  • fuck yeah wat a song hahahaha from down under

  • what a great song!

    molto feeling

    smoke smile and live

  • wisdom.

  • arrested development ahead of their time in about 1992...RE-member what's the point if there isn't 1 seed of discord:)

  • love ur songs Arrested Development !

  • albanianmuslim is obviously trolling , pffff whatever ...

  • @albanianmuslim, you have some nerve, sitting in France, judging people you know nothing about. I guess that is why, they don't like Albanians in Italia.

  • I love the niggaz from those days, they were so like.... Chill out (i think), but now days, almost of them are some damm bastards. And i don't say all of them, becouse i know some black people that are very respectfull, and very educated. But i think, that, in that time, almost all of them were like respectful people. BTW I HAVE 2 BLACK DUDES THAT ARE MY BEST <3

MUCH LOVE TO THEM, and Peace to all ;D

  • @loirinh69 Well, I see late 80s, early 90s African American pop culture as very proud. In the late 90s people like Jay-Z started rapping about the plight of the inner cities ghettos. I think this was important, but it may have made some people wallow in their reality? Anytime that happens, we get apathy (aka "I just want to parties with hoes" mentality.)

Some good news, they need to grieve and this will bring about a music explosion. (see grunge for examples.)

  • @albanianmysliman

    Um... clearly you're not educated...

    ...which is hilarious.

Good luck with that life of yours :-)

  • this song is so underated

  • at least we have a life and will enjoy heaven while you burn in hell..damn racist

  • Wow yeah this does bring back some memories! My roommate and I used to listen to a lot of AD back in college! Great memories! As a Christian, I always think of more "global" music and culture as a little taste of what kind of diversity awaits God's people in His eternal kingdom! I cannot wait to find out...and I sometimes wonder how people who cannot accept diversity on this earth will feel then??

  • man this track always puts a smile on my day

  • @ albanianmysliman DONT B CUMIN ON SUMTING IF YOU DONT LIKE NIGGAZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!! U FUKIN RASICT BASTARD!!! U KNW HOW MUCH BLACK PEOPLE HAVE DONE 4 DIS WORLD!!! WE WERE DA MAIN CREATORS OF MUSIC!!! IF IT WAS FOR SLAVERY THEN WE WUDNT KNOW BOUT MUSIC, HARMONIES AND DEM TINGZ DERE!!!!! SO TEK UR BAD COMMENTS ELSE WHERE AND IF U DONT LIKE BLACK PEOPLE SAD ON UR LIFE COZ DERE ARE ALOT OF US IN DA WORLD!!!!! BLACK IZ BEAUTIFUL!!!

  • I loved Arrested Dev...there was another group similar to them out around this time named Gumbo that I also liked

  • You can't hear no more this type of music on radio nor see it on TV. Really conscious music. Instead of queens, now they say bitches, instead of brothers, now they say niggas. what's happened? Hip Hop music used to be a voice of the voiceless

  • raggae da mehor qualidade

  • something respectable coming from the south, a classic no question to the definition. some people need to absorbs this A.S.A.P...like yesterday

  • let people embed this!

  • @01342663563 true!!

  • Sure you are right! We need this again in all of our communtiies. We gotta pay for it one way or another. Getting it in in 2010!!!

  • "Whoa Yea!!!!"

  • Damn these guys really had something special to say back in the day. It's a pity they lost their way.

  • hip hop lost something to talk about its all bout love 2day back in the day

  • Epic 5 stars, favorited.

i hope modern hip hop gets back in touch with its roots soon. modern mainstream is terrible. this is beautiful.
