  • Which nitrous kit should i used for my 01 vw vr6 dry or wet kit thanks.

  • Great Video.

  • awesome explanation! what wud you recommend the wet or dry kit for my 00 gt? been thinking about a nutrous for awhile now...

  • @GTMustang2k if you run a wet kit on the 2valve it will puddle in the plastic manifold then backfire and blow the bottom of the manifold out,,,they make wet kits for it but it WILL BLOW OUT YOUR MANIFOLD,,,get the zex efi dry kit and run a nx brand jet because they mix the n20 and gas better,,,zex dry kit is the best for the 2 valve and its powdered metal pistons and rods,,,,

  • everything is cool except the way you mounted the bottle. that is just nuts.

  • Did you build the motor to handle the NOS or is it stock with just a 50 shot?

  • It is a stock engine, I used a 125-150 shot on it with no problems. Fuel pump is upgraded.

  • @Helmsdini Thanks...lol very cool.

  • dude nice job

  • damn dude, really clean install great project man

  • so so so kool man ....wicch do u think is best wet or dry????? sos to bother u

  • i really need help here i have a 92 caamero and idk what nitro system to buy so if u could direct me in the right direction that would be great

  • yea i havea 03 gt with the 2V 4.6 in it...if its installed right will it mess up the motor or anything at all because my buddy is selling his dry kit for 100 so if it wont mess up the car im going to buy it

  • yea i have an 2003 gt with the 2 valve would dry nitrous mess up my car if i install it right just wondering because my buddy wants to sell his dry kit for 100 so im considering it if it wont mess up the motor

  • i have a 96 mustang gt, with a dry nos kit and a switch in the exact position as yours. ive never used it because it was my dads car to begin with and he wont tell me how it works. could u plz msg me back and explain to me exactly how to use it and how it works.....it shoots out a really cold air and i have another switch in my trunk nxt to the nos bottle (idk if tht has anything to do with the system tho)??? plz help lol

  • is nos legal in usa ....i want to came in usa ^_^

  • is nos illegal?

  • how coast than dry kit? i have opel astra can i put that?

  • You shoulda gotten the wet system..

  • @Markmikunda Not if you're running an old 5.0 like that. Those cars have little to no computer control over the engine and it is actually safer and more efficient to go dry. Any other car i totally agree though

  • @Markmikunda lol

  • @Markmikunda If you put a wet kit on a 4.6l 2 valve with the plastic manifold the gas WILL puddle and blow the bottom out of the intake manifold,,,the 2 valve manifold is a bad design all around,,,you have to do a dry kit or it will blow ,,if not the first time you ryn it WILL happen,,,,

  • he can´t its a v8

  • thay was an amazing video man i loved how you ran all the lines so that there were no holes if you wanted to take it off i didnt even know that you could run your system like that, purely awesome

  • @491531

to tell the truth, if you not a "car guy" i don't really recommend you get a NOS system at all...

  • Damn good video dude! By far one of the best explanations of a dry system out there! Kudos!

  • That's very close to the TB for a dry shot.

  • @Tegbusa

No. NOS recommends only a few inches from the TB. You do not need to run this kit through the MAF. We did a great deal of testing on systems like this, and generally, the further down the tract you run it, the less of a cooling effect you get, and the more issues you have with equal dispersion through the runners.

  • you should have made a test drive for us!

  • u need to get a blow down, or if it leaks you can get sick or die

  • i have a 2.7v6 with 160,000kms, can my engine handle a 30-50 shot?

  • yes, you can go upto a 75shot pretty easy.

ive seen plenty of v6's on a 100shot. but thats a little risky without the proper precautions.

  • wich one is better...dry or wet????

  • wet but a wet is more expensive and a little more complicated to install

  • Wet is better. :)

  • @Eldaras92

I burnt a car to the ground with a wet kit. Spraying gasoline down the intake can be a bit risky.

  • wet adds more gas my dads got one in his 67 chev vle v8

  • thanks man

  • should i put it to spray into the mass air flow censor or after so it don't spray it at all.? and i heard to do it at 2,000 rpm to be safe?

  • wouldn't recommended it remember the MAFS has a limit of induction you spray it you'll end up bogging and turning off maybe and inch from the throttle body

  • your going to want to do it after the mass air flow sensor

  • aahm.. ahhm.. ahhm.

  • jeeze i wish i was that smart

  • dude i was purpously typing that way. kinda used to typing in txt you no. i reread it and i guess my comment didnt make to much sense. lol I was just tryn to see if there were dif. nos systems I could look into more. Or if theres systems that you would rec. anyway. thanx

  • Might I add putting it in view is a sure fire way of getting your tank jacked sooner or later and missing a window.

  • Two 'noids? Thought it was a dry kit?

  • Is there any other mods on this car

  • thank you for this video. i have an 03 and i want a dry shot. i found one on ebay for like 250. any tips or warnings? i heard dry shots can fuck ur motor up haha

  • any nitrous set up can fuck your motor you just have to know how and when to use it

  • well no shit. thanks ur comment helped a lot

  • is nos legal on the road not to use just to have ?

  • its not illegal to have...its not legal to use either...reckless driving and exceeding the speed limit is illegal though

  • liga essa porcaria caralho!!!!!... é carro de amostra?????? ti fude

  • im 19 and getting into the nos idea. wut would you rec. me look at to learn more bout the systems. i dont wona b stupid and just randomly get stuff u no.... i got a 96 pontiac grand prix that im slowly fixn up. i just bot neon ex and in 4 it. wrkn on a body kit tho..... thanx much

  • lern to spel you sound lik a stupit jurk. Haha.

  • I got my Nitrouse klt from ebay as well (%250 dollars), running it on a 95 Mustang gt, with other mods.

What kinda shot you running ?

  • :O amazing bro i wish you lived in my town so once i get my '94-'03 mustang you can help me install it you did a AMAZING JOB on your "Pony" :) i'm a huge Mustang Lover :) message me back if possible saying how much you spent on the system or how long did it take to install everything

  • The system was bought used, probably about 300-350 on fleabay. I think I added a couple more odds n ends, but I cant remember now. It took about 2-3 hours to get everything done, but I soldered all the wiring and so on. Thanks for the support.

  • :O wow did it really thats totally awesome do you buy more tanks of nos when it runs out or where do you go to fill 'em up?

  • thank's for explaining this with some sence.

tired of people on youtube not knowing what they are doing with nitrous in general.

  • -_- y wud u need nitrus???

  • i miss those 5.0's

  • im gonna put my Nos bottle in the trunk. that way it wont take space in the back seat

  • did you install or got it install

  • Installed myself. I used to work at a speedshop, but anyone can do a simple install like this- just read the directions carefully.

  • is that a 302

  • yea its a 302

  • about how long did the install take? does it take alot of knowledge to install a Nitrous kit like yours?

  • On my friends 95 GT it tooks us about 2 1/2 hours to do.

  • It took probably 2-3 hours. I did it in two days because I had some other things going on. I mounted all the hardware on one day, then did the plumbing and wiring the next. Make sure you take your time, a rushed install is a sure fire way to mess something up.

  • okay cool. thanks man!

  • wait isnt this illegal to own on the street

  • It is illegal to "use" on the street in most cases- local and state laws vary.

  • how much run time do u get with that bottle and how much was the kit?

  • I just wanted to say thanks for all of your work with your website. It really got me into dry systems. Im running a similar kit to the 05115 kit (05120, same with smaller nitrous jets) with my s2000 and it works like a charm.

  • what is the best zex nos or nx i really want zex but i dont kno if thats the best after all i am a street racer with a honda civic

  • Its depends on the application

  • This is a terrably installed kit on a few levels. I would'nt pay to much attention to the way its been thrown in like that, the bottle itself is bolted to a chunk of timber thats fixed off to nothing?? mmmmmmm.....

  • No one has to pay attention to the install, it is just here to fuel curiosity. It is installed per NOS' instructions except for the bottle location, so its a little odd that you find it "terribly installed" on "a few levels". I have worked with NOS directly on some projects FWIW. I have also bursted discs before, and trust me, the bottles dont have to be welded to the frame or anything like that. I have no doubts that little piece of "timber" will hold it secure if the valve gives.

  • Sounds like you'v got the knowledge but it looks like you need to brush up on your installs or fabrication....... maybe I'm just fussy......

  • That looks unsafe.... Do you have a bottle vent line running out of the car?

If it overheats and gets too much pressure in the bottle you might have a nitrous filled car one day.....

  • IMO the whole vent line thing is totally unnecessary and simply another example of the NHRA overcompensating with safety rules. I worked in a very well known speed shop for 5 years. I knew guys with nitrous bottles in their doors and everything else and never once heard of anyone bursting a disc inside a car. It can probably happen, but it is rare- especially if you dont use a heater. I cant find any record of nitrous asphyxiation deaths in a vehicle either.

  • I'm just generally paranoid, so I'd just run the $20 line. But that's just me. I'd rather spend a little bit of money and have that security. Especially when it's just a vent line.....

  • Sooo bursting a disc is the only life theatining aspect of having a bottle not fixed off? mmmm... this guy is teaching bad habits! This is a dangerous install as I say and it's on a few levels....... you only need one!

  • The point of a dry kit is to spray the nitrous in front of the MAF so it can make the adjustments threw the injectors to add the added fuel needed. Why is this Direct into the T body it is not a fogger?

  • the MAF looks for air, not nitrous, since nitrous is denser then air it would not be able compensate for the nitrous correctly

  • This is a NOS 05115 dry kit. It spikes fuel pressure when the nitrous is sprayed at the fuel pressure regulator. It is not a through the MAF type kit.

  • Nice install, But i prefer to use the UK product Wizard of NOS seems to be more reliabe equipment. And no need for a back noid

  • how hard was it to make the switch plate that fits in the ash tray slot...... i like that it looks clean

  • It wasnt too hard, I actually just took the original ashtray and used it as a template to make that piece of wood. It fit snugly in there and cost nearly nothing.

  • Great video and good job on the car as well.
