@GTMustang2k if you run a wet kit on the 2valve it will puddle in the plastic manifold then backfire and blow the bottom of the manifold out,,,they make wet kits for it but it WILL BLOW OUT YOUR MANIFOLD,,,get the zex efi dry kit and run a nx brand jet because they mix the n20 and gas better,,,zex dry kit is the best for the 2 valve and its powdered metal pistons and rods,,,,
yea i havea 03 gt with the 2V 4.6 in it...if its installed right will it mess up the motor or anything at all because my buddy is selling his dry kit for 100 so if it wont mess up the car im going to buy it
yea i have an 2003 gt with the 2 valve would dry nitrous mess up my car if i install it right just wondering because my buddy wants to sell his dry kit for 100 so im considering it if it wont mess up the motor
i have a 96 mustang gt, with a dry nos kit and a switch in the exact position as yours. ive never used it because it was my dads car to begin with and he wont tell me how it works. could u plz msg me back and explain to me exactly how to use it and how it works.....it shoots out a really cold air and i have another switch in my trunk nxt to the nos bottle (idk if tht has anything to do with the system tho)??? plz help lol
@Markmikunda Not if you're running an old 5.0 like that. Those cars have little to no computer control over the engine and it is actually safer and more efficient to go dry. Any other car i totally agree though
@Markmikunda If you put a wet kit on a 4.6l 2 valve with the plastic manifold the gas WILL puddle and blow the bottom out of the intake manifold,,,the 2 valve manifold is a bad design all around,,,you have to do a dry kit or it will blow ,,if not the first time you ryn it WILL happen,,,,
thay was an amazing video man i loved how you ran all the lines so that there were no holes if you wanted to take it off i didnt even know that you could run your system like that, purely awesome

yes too close the massive spray onto the MAS (mass airflow sensor) will eventually knock it out causing close to 200$ i believe but hey he made the decision to buy the car so that tells us about his IQ (fuckin ford guys) lol
No. NOS recommends only a few inches from the TB. You do not need to run this kit through the MAF. We did a great deal of testing on systems like this, and generally, the further down the tract you run it, the less of a cooling effect you get, and the more issues you have with equal dispersion through the runners.
wouldn't recommended it remember the MAFS has a limit of induction you spray it you'll end up bogging and turning off maybe and inch from the throttle body
dude i was purpously typing that way. kinda used to typing in txt you no. i reread it and i guess my comment didnt make to much sense. lol I was just tryn to see if there were dif. nos systems I could look into more. Or if theres systems that you would rec. anyway. thanx
thank you for this video. i have an 03 and i want a dry shot. i found one on ebay for like 250. any tips or warnings? i heard dry shots can fuck ur motor up haha

:O amazing bro i wish you lived in my town so once i get my '94-'03 mustang you can help me install it you did a AMAZING JOB on your "Pony" :) i'm a huge Mustang Lover :) message me back if possible saying how much you spent on the system or how long did it take to install everything
The system was bought used, probably about 300-350 on fleabay. I think I added a couple more odds n ends, but I cant remember now. It took about 2-3 hours to get everything done, but I soldered all the wiring and so on. Thanks for the support.
It took probably 2-3 hours. I did it in two days because I had some other things going on. I mounted all the hardware on one day, then did the plumbing and wiring the next. Make sure you take your time, a rushed install is a sure fire way to mess something up.
I just wanted to say thanks for all of your work with your website. It really got me into dry systems. Im running a similar kit to the 05115 kit (05120, same with smaller nitrous jets) with my s2000 and it works like a charm.
This is a terrably installed kit on a few levels. I would'nt pay to much attention to the way its been thrown in like that, the bottle itself is bolted to a chunk of timber thats fixed off to nothing?? mmmmmmm.....
No one has to pay attention to the install, it is just here to fuel curiosity. It is installed per NOS' instructions except for the bottle location, so its a little odd that you find it "terribly installed" on "a few levels". I have worked with NOS directly on some projects FWIW. I have also bursted discs before, and trust me, the bottles dont have to be welded to the frame or anything like that. I have no doubts that little piece of "timber" will hold it secure if the valve gives.
IMO the whole vent line thing is totally unnecessary and simply another example of the NHRA overcompensating with safety rules. I worked in a very well known speed shop for 5 years. I knew guys with nitrous bottles in their doors and everything else and never once heard of anyone bursting a disc inside a car. It can probably happen, but it is rare- especially if you dont use a heater. I cant find any record of nitrous asphyxiation deaths in a vehicle either.
I'm just generally paranoid, so I'd just run the $20 line. But that's just me. I'd rather spend a little bit of money and have that security. Especially when it's just a vent line.....
Sooo bursting a disc is the only life theatining aspect of having a bottle not fixed off? mmmm... this guy is teaching bad habits! This is a dangerous install as I say and it's on a few levels....... you only need one!
The point of a dry kit is to spray the nitrous in front of the MAF so it can make the adjustments threw the injectors to add the added fuel needed. Why is this Direct into the T body it is not a fogger?
This is a NOS 05115 dry kit. It spikes fuel pressure when the nitrous is sprayed at the fuel pressure regulator. It is not a through the MAF type kit.
It wasnt too hard, I actually just took the original ashtray and used it as a template to make that piece of wood. It fit snugly in there and cost nearly nothing.
Which nitrous kit should i used for my 01 vw vr6 dry or wet kit thanks.

Did you build the motor to handle the NOS or is it stock with just a 50 shot?

It is a stock engine, I used a 125-150 shot on it with no problems. Fuel pump is upgraded.

yes, you can go upto a 75shot pretty easy.
ive seen plenty of v6's on a 100shot. but thats a little risky without the proper precautions.

That looks unsafe.... Do you have a bottle vent line running out of the car?
If it overheats and gets too much pressure in the bottle you might have a nitrous filled car one day.....
