Dear God, almighty, all-powerful, all-loving creator of the universe, we pray to you to cure every case of cancer on this planet tonight. We pray in faith, knowing you will bless us as you describe in Matthew 7:7, Matthew 17:20, Matthew 21:21, Mark 11:24, John 14:12-14, Matthew 18:19 and James 5:15-16. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
It might be that you thought I was the type of person who believes in prayer.
Christianity is a club of the willfully ignorant. The Bible stands as proof of its failure. It fails morally by sanctioning genocide, celebrating infanticide and tolerating slavery. It fails logically with self contradiction and historical inaccuracies.
@StrumstickJoe The irony I see is that you troll Christian videos as is there really were something to fight against. That you offer up a faithless and bogus prayer to prove a point that faithful prayer is a sham. That you use a biblical phrase "peace on earth" to seriously bless me.
@dwyImike 2) The prayer was for someone with faith to try – I realise that it wouldn’t work for me! I find your myth-god so vindictive in the bible that I think he would probably give even more people cancer, to teach me!
I use “peace on earth” without irony; it is a good wish because it underlines the lack of anywhere else – I might even add, “goodwill to all men” because that is what I want also.
@dwyImike 1) I suppose I trawl through religious vids trying to see their point – or to find some evidence. Although I am firm in my disbelief, I will admit that if a single shred of evidence came my way, I would take notice of it. I try reason, irony, logic and ridicule in the hope that just one person might see my point.
@StrumstickJoe BAHAHAHAHAHAHA ARE YOU SERIOUS? The reason why you haven't heard back is because I don't think it is worth the effort to have an age long debate with you on youtube over something you will not possibly change your mind on through such a lousy and anonymous means--a lesson you would do well in learning.
Yay! Matthew 18:20, one of my favorite verses! 2 or 3 people praying have caused HUGE awakenings, revivals, just because they decided to pray by a haystack..

@StrumstickJoe You are an idiot.

@dwyImike That might well be true.
I hope you got the irony, though, did you?

My point, BTW, is that religion is a danger...
StrumstickJoe 7 months ago
@StrumstickJoe Lots of things are dangers. Cars are immensely dangerous. Depends on how you drive them. :)

@linnetswings
The "car" of christianity is being driven by people who make oodles of money from the poor.
They are obscene and immoral.
The "Car" of islam is loaded with a bomb.
The "car of judaism contains genital mutilators and food obsessives, who believe they were "chosen."
My car is driven carefully and well!
Thanks for the analogy. ;-)

@dwyImike Haven't heard back. Did you acknowledge what I suggested?
Hope nothing untoward has befallen you.

@dwyImike Always serious, though sometimes with a lighter touch.
I'm glad you are OK, and wish you well in the future.
I will leave you alone now with your imaginary friends.
All the best.
