Now that the court has decided that public schools students who oppose homosexual behavior may wear "Be Happy, Not Gay" t-shirts and are permitted to celebrate "The Day of Truth" to counter "The Day of Silence" both sides are represented, as they should be. We cannot permit GLSEN to indoctrinate children.

I'm not a lesbian or bi, but I do support wholeheartedly those who are. One of my best friends from kindergarten is gay, and several of my best friends are also bi.

The 'silence' you are referring to; the purpose is to show a intolerance for discrimination against the LGBT commmunity. It's for remembrance and acknoledging that hate of any form, is unacceptable.

Yeah. At my high school we have a club called the Remember Club to remind students to wear their seat belts since one accident killed a fellow student. And they did that yesterday. They wore white paint on their faces and didn't talk all day. I just thought it was a bit ironic. Hehe.

Why participate? because I don't believe that God would hate someone for loving someone else. We become silent in memory of the silence forced on LGBT individuals in the past because of the intolerance of society. Homosexuality is natural, but made UNnatural by intolerant and sick people! We also see homosexuality in the animal world, so it's very natural! Please, accept homosexuality and do not discriminate! Be tolerant! Gay marriages should be allowed everywhere! Proud to be GAY! Thank you!

I love to debate with those that call homosexuality unnatural. Homosexuality has been around for millenia. It exists in the animal world and is more prevalent than most would believe. Look at the Bonobo for example. It has also existed in human society for as long as history has been recorded. But do you know what hasn't? Christianity. Now there's something that seems unnatural to me.
