Nicely done! I realize "Peter Pan"(2003) was a fantasy story, but you should check out Jason Isaacs as Captain Hook--his costumes, long hair & 'stache make it the most irresistable role he's played. Too bad that story wasn't "Regency", but he looked even better as Capt.Hook than he did as Lucius Malfoy.

I totally agree. Gentleman manners are becoming removed from Western culture. I am really upset about it and I hope that all men out there will listen when I say that they should study the manners of these period men to learn how to treat a woman (although there are some exceptions such as Rochester's mistreatment of Bertha).

I think it's their class and their clothes just accentuate the natural physical attractiveness of a fit male. The waistcoat (and sometimes coat, too) until men stopped wearing them regularly, fit to those nice contours of the back and where the strong waistline tapers in just slightly. The higher collarpoints of the earlier periods and the cravats bring attention to the arch of the neck which is also quite nice.
