First, far as I know the only people who care about British taste in music is the British, Second the UK Singles Chart doesn't count airplay statistics, only sales, so if people are calling and requesting a song (other than the #1) every 5 minutes it doesn't count, and third the facebook app says what was number 1 the year people were born, not number 1 in the UK, so my point is still valid.
