Great video!! i have a 89 convertible camaro rs v8 n i am thinking of what to put into it to make it sound really nice. i want it to sound like a deep n loud roar. i was thinking of flowmasters but idk im only 16 so i need someone to explain to me as simply as possible. any tips on what kind of midpipes, headers, n mufflers will be great. thanks!

Go to JC Whitney's website and there are a couple sets for 3rd Gen Camaros and I don't think they're 3 piece. There are also a couple at Summit Racing that are 1 piece.

@torindude2011 Seats got off of ebay. Hood was off of Hawksthirdgenparts. Exhaust is custom true dual exhaust with flowmaster 10's (No Headers its on manifolds)

you're happy with it, that's all that matters, i won't sit and bash you for it like everyone else. BUT. i personally do not prefer of magnaflow either, or square tips. they sound tenny and metallic. I like flow master, they sound meaty and bassy. personal pref tho. tons of people like it. like fart cans on a civic. some ppl like it. fat chicks too. ppl like those, doesn't mean i have to though.

Magnaflow sucks. If you thin that sounds good I feel sorry for you.

When I bought my Iroc 15 years ago it had a glass-pack Magnaflow muffler on it. Shittiest thing ever. Ripped it out and put a 40 series Flowmaster on it.

@LadyValea Something doesn't sound right to me. Too raspy still, even with a larger engine, not going to make a noticeable difference with the same exhaust setup.

10 series have a single chamber as opposed to a dual chamber in the 40 series. Personally I think the 40's have a more naturally aggressive sound without any raspyness.

@Yakinabottle There is a difference especially on the down throttle. No more of the crackling and popping. The headers made a differnence. The old setup just had crap manifolds. Plus I wanted True Dual exhaust, couldnt really do that with 40's because I considered them.

@Yakinabottle first off its because it was a magnaflow glass packs. u don't put glasspacks on a camaro u put them on mud trucks so they're loud and secondly magnaflow is the best sounding muffler you can put on those. i used to have flowmasters on mine and i hated them. i switched to magnaflows and will never go back to flowmasters again.
