  • Singing exercise are in order Mr Osbourne. Do ra me so fa la te do Remember? Dont be the weak link.

  • dude I'm okay with Ozzy having teleprompters because 1.) he did a lot of drugs and 2.) some of these songs are almost 40 years old. I would have forgot them too. And every band forgets songs, there was one concert I went to where they took a request, and they requested one off their first album, which was 10 years old at the time, and they had to ask for sheet music before they played because they didn't remember how to even play the song!

  • They need to show Tony more.

  • at 2.41 min... a little push from the voice regulator bottle

  • I hope Ozzy wiill sing better in 2012 tour

  • Ozzy does not sound good his voice is cracking

  • the fathers of heavy metal

  • OZZY IS MY DADDY

  • Comment removed

  • 11 people haven't seen the truth or light.

  • Anybody else catch the video monitors displaying the lyrics at the :58 mark? Only for Ozzy!!!!

  • why the devil did they play this in C#? it was originally in D, and sounds much better that way, and its not like tony can't play in D, or Eb. and the Reunion (Last Supper) shows us that Ozzy can at least sing in Eb, and his live solo stuff in D, so wtf?

  • @bookworm1138 It's because Ozzy can't sing in that key anymore. His voice has really gone bad in the last 10 years.

  • @bookworm1138 You are correct! I remember when I tried to figure these songs out back in the 70s and I was told to tune my guitar down to C#. It was true on most of the songs but this one is tuned down to D. I forgot that till now!

  • Ozzy!!!!!!!!!!! And Black Sabbath - thatˇs fucking amazing

  • Ozz, you bring out the bad in me,!! Tanks cause you've got to

ddddddooo that now and again. Cheers *Rasta*

  • Great lyrics! One of my favorites from Black Sabbath = 4 rock Masters!

  • this is one of the best sabbath performances i've seen, musically.

  • My fovourite. Geezer just.... don't know, no words...

  • AWESOME SONG!!!

  • Ozzy has reminder roller screens with the words if his song, on stage! How sad! See for yourselves... 00:53 to 00:59... replay and look at the stage!

  • @tagucilalpa Even Jonathan Davis from Korn uses teleprompter. He did a lot of drugs back in 90s so that really took it's toll on his memory.

  • ozzy is in pain...

  • PURE GENIUS! GREAT LYRICS...BS the masters of metal always will they be!

  • The drummer is bill ward...? he really changed lol

  • \m/_ _\m/

  • god ozzy kinda sucked at this song, but long live the prince of darkness!!!!!!!!!!

  • I don't know why everyone is trashing Ozzy because he's using the teleprompter.

You can see that on the most parts,he is looking at the crowd and not at the teleprompter.Maybe he's using it to avoid situations in which maybe he doesn't remember the lyrics. And btw,I don't think he sings this song everyday,so it's normal for people to not remember things sometimes.

  • Is it just me or does Ozzy's suckiness on this particular song actually make it sound more awesome?

  • Ozzy a lil rough on this one....

  • 2:40 Quick tea break huh?

  • How the fuck does he remember those awesome lyrics geezer wrote?

  • OZZY Forever!!!!!

  • im sorry but i cannot understand ozzy at all lol the rest of the band is killer. geezer is the man

  • @IronManFranco1992 Ozzy sounds like shit but the band is tight. He probably had a hard time remembering the lyrics. He's one of those guys: infamous at forgetting lyrics. Not slighting the guy as I used to read off lyric sheets in my band days.

  • @sonicdeath10

If you look closely, you'll notice quite a few telepromts in front of him (In between his monitors). He can't remember the lyrics, but he can read! Anyhow, I saw them at Roskilde 05' and I throughly enjoyed. If I remember correctly he did sing After Forever a lot better then. Sab on!

  • C' MON!!!!!

  • bill ward - wow what a drummer!

  • People that dont play...dont Understand...Bill Has to be an inventive drummer because of tony's style as well as terry's..He bends the strings on the bass and goes into these allmost jazz type things that bill needs to invent fill's and somehow reel them back in for the hook...Not many drummers can do that. I saw Sabbath in 05 in massachusetts on the first night of ozzfest and ozzy was perfect. as was the rest of the band.

  • @lemmyozzydimebag Yeah Bill's a rock solid drummer, no reason for others to slight him. He's not the best drummer in the world but who cares? He plays right on time, right in the pocket, has some cool fills here and there. He's good.

  • Bill had just had a heart attack and played our show for us in Nashville......why not die playing he said.....THAT WAS SOOO COOL!

  • Bill Ward is so epic at 1:26

  • que chinba hijueouta arriba black sabbath

  • Great to see Bill Ward still beating those skins!

  • love this tune , but audio could have better on this clip

  • agreed , he was the best bassist. yes, in the world

  • @Mrblacksabbathfan I have thought Geezer the best in the world since the early 70s.

  • man after almost 40 years they still got it just wish they would reunite again and stay like that

  • WHY IS THE FREAKING CONFEDERATE FLAG THERE?%$#@!

  • @satchseven Because Ozzy supports states rights?

  • fucking insane song, i love it. tony the genius!

  • i think theyre should be a place that has huge statues of the greatest icons of rock and metAL like imagine huge statues of ozzy or eddie van halen doin their iconic stage poses among many other great musical gods

  • Ozzy just can't go high-pitched anymore, but thats okay, the low-pitched singing songs are the best ones.

  • @69ofdoom

have you heard his new song let it die, he goes really high pitched sometimes, its like hes almost does screamo for those two parts in the song...but thats my opinion check it out for yourself

  • @vindobar252 Yeah, but come on... it's in the studio. But live, he has to do it in one shot, and his voice just isn't as youthful and raw as it once was.

  • Osbourne, Iommi, Butler, Ward. changed music forever

  • Tony Riff Master Iommi strikes again.

  • I was there! Thanks for uploading! What a great time we had!!

Does nayone know if this is available on DVD?

  • 9 people must have pressed the wrong button..

  • i never realised ozzy read from monitors in front with the lyrics rolling to help him along...you learn something new everyday!

  • You can tell that Ozzy is having trouble with the vocals and he tries to drink something to help. It doesn't matter how crappy it sounds, he could yell jibberish into the mic and it would still be awesom.

  • This might be my favorite Sabbath song ever. It is all about Christianity for sure. Gezzer is the man. Cheers....LET'S GO CRAZY!!!!!!!!

  • Did Ozzy just take a "Whippit-hit" in the middle of this?? LOL

    -no, really what was that?

  • Did Ozzy just take a "Whippit-hit" in the middle of this?? LOL

    -no, really what was that?

  • Black Sabbath should have played this in Vatican :D

  • geezer = best bassist ever

  • Grew Up Listening to Sabbath. Greatest Band Ever.

Last Time I saw them was 1999. Full Tour. Before That the first Ozzfest @ Giant Stadium.

and btw kiddies, I hope all others get to see them again.

This is the greatest song they have ever made. About Christianity ? Yes. It is. Learn.

  • Yes, it's all about Christianity. This is my favorite Sabbath song, no phun intended. Amazing band live and timeless recordings that made my world a better place!! Cheers brothers and sisters!!

  • You Can't Never Hear Anything For Ozzy's Big Ego!!! Shut Up And Sing When Your Suppose To!!!

  • my god... fuck rolling stones

  • Yeah! Remember that Jesus will lead you to Heaven.

Remember that God is the One!

Pray to God, your Lord, your Savior!

  • HAPPY EASTER TO ALL MY HEATHEN FRIENDS

  • what happened with ozzy's voice?

    he's been better

Que paso con la voz de ozzy ?

    ha estado mejor

  • "Would you like to see the pope at the end of a rope do you think he's a fool?"

    ...yes and YES!

  • was this relassed?

  • Never say die! 0:16 \m/

  • Looking back it's amazing how good they really were. The songs are only truly played by them, they were a machine. Geezer's lyrics with Ozzy's voice can never be matched.

  • @jrlpc this song was actually completely written by tony so in this case it was tony's lyrics and ozzy's voice

  • What year is this from?

  • @metalmark062

Must have been in 2006, the 10th anniversary of Ozzfest.

  • nope ozzy was doing his solo act for ozzfest in 06, 04 and 05 where when sabbath were playing and 05 was the 10th anniversary :P

  • sabbath and ozzy forever!!!!

  • lol, ozzy looks drugged even when he doesnt use it.....

    OZZY FOREVER UHUUUUUUU

  • @connected1914 Yeah it happens to all drug addicts. Ozzy drug problem is not something to cheer for. Enjoy the epic music but dont cheer for the real dark side of his life. He should not be an idol for that habit

  • @connected1914 No, he IS on drugs.. he never actually became sober until recently. In 2004, for instance, he was constantly high on morphine the entire year.

  • @69ofdoom It's amazing he is even alive. Really, he should have died back in the 70's with all the stuff he was doing.

  • @zeppelin1996 Maybe all the weed he smoked saved him.

  • @connected1914 That's because he used so much back in the day that it won't wear off.

  • @connected1914 It's not his fault. He suffered a neurologically damaging grand mal seizure when he was 44.

  • Gotta love Geezer Butler... so under appreciated!

  • couldnt of said it anybetter, in my opinon one of the best if not the best

  • @DoctorIvanSFN

    i absolutely agree!

  • @DoctorIvanSFN Geezer has long reminded me of Beatle guitarist George Harrison and of New Age musician Yanni. Anyone else see a resemblance?

  • @DoctorIvanSFN they're all great :)

  • @DoctorIvanSFN

Geezer??? How about Bill Ward? Never hear him mentioned with Bohnam, Moon, Baker, and he''s better than all of them!

  • @ozzy1351 I don't know if he's better... but he is incredible. Sabbath's rhythm section was the backbone of the band and is so overlooked due to Iommi's sweet riffs.

  • @ozzy1351 are you on peyote? bill ward is good but thats it

  • @Wut88 good and thats it? you must to be mentally handicapped!. He is one of the Drummers of human history, and thats a fact.

  • @ozzy1351 Better than Bonham, Moon and Baker...? Ahahahahahahahah...!!! He is good but he´s definately NOT better than the three mentioned! They are all completely different drummers, so why even compare them?!

  • @DoctorIvanSFN All bass players are under appreciated if it's that...

  • @LanciaTurbo What about Steve Harris? He's probably the only exception to that rule.

  • @RotnRoll77 That's true... but Geezer shoulda been as big :p

  • @LanciaTurbo If not bigger.

  • @DoctorIvanSFN I never realized how great a bass player Geezer was untill I picked up bass ten yrs ago,He is probably the best musician in Sabbath by a long shot,Ward is a great drummer but his timing is suspect and on every album he tends to use the same beats and fills over and over again. But Geezer is very innovative musically,he wrote much of their stuff and was always on point when playing live, cant say the same for Ozzy,Iommi and Ward, live was NEVER their strength.

  • It's funny how bill ward takes an appreciative back seat when without him sabbath wouldn't have been nearly the same.....same for geezer.....what a band they were

  • Ozzy got real sick on this tour, even if he cant sing I love him forever, his voice cleared up later and he cant help it his voice is cracking....he is human..lol!

  • TOMTOM IS AN ASSHOLE.

  • geezer is the best by far!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Its priceless to see these guys, even though Ozzy is not in his prime anymore. Ill bet most reading this would explode if you could have even led a part of any one of these mens lives. I couldnt have done it then and sure as hell couldnt at 60.

  • asshole!

  • Ozzy and Bill seem to be struggling so much. Of the 4 of them they were the biggest substance abusers and they are paying for it. Shit,Bill is probably completely clean now,but Ozzy is consistently kept on the meds thanks to his wonderful wife.

  • ya they partied hard bill is in an insane assylum watch heaven and hell live if u like that faggot ass pussy dio u'll see a different drummer cuz he only plays with sabbath but no matter what everyone in the band is a fuckin badass and no one can prove wrong

  • its funny how people riff on ozzys age. he may not be as good as he once was... but, hes still good and look at the guy jumping around and gettin the crowd into it. I challenge everyone to be that active at 60 and still sound that good. there are people in the 60s ridin in scooters. some dont make it that far. but here ozzy is still singin tourin and makin records. think about that. and, enjoy sabbath in this kickin ass as usual.

  • 2:06 - 2:35

I freaking love Black Sabbath and Ozzy, and hearing him in that part singing in that way was really sad, and to be honest, also a bit cute, well, he's like 60 now ;)

    GO OZZY!

  • Imagine if your grandfather was Ozzy.......and leave it at that. I dont care if he forgets every word and he is off key....gotta love it!!! Ozzy Rules!

  • It's painful to watch Ozzy struggling like that.

  • do 1/4 of the drugs Ozzy did and see if you don't get confused after 40 years... easy to forget which verse your singing

  • so what OZZY doing readding the lyreics on the monters foe ( the 3 singe of getting old can"t reead)

  • this song makes me bang my and makes me feel good. hey you people wanna see the pope on the end of the rope you think he's a fool? infinity thumbs up to ozzy and infinite star is the legend ozzy did you relize he is the one you always new.

  • GEEZER WROTE THIS SONG YE WANK

  • Actually Tony Iommi wrote both the music and lyrics for this song (I am not kidding, I am serious).

All 4 band members were credited for writing most tracks on Masters of Reality but Embryo, Orchid and After Forever are Credited just to Tony.

  • I like the teleprompter in front of Ozzy ............

  • yeah its cool

  • yes. Bill. my bad.

  • is my dad!!!

  • that is not Bill Ward

  • sure as shit is bill ward...

  • thats a Bill!!

  • it is bill ward jerk

  • f off

  • fuck yourself mr huhu this is not bill ward...if this is not bill ward, who is it than? Santa Clause? or your Mum? Oh..you just saw that it IS bill ward...and now? hmmm who is your mum? it's not easy for kids if they don't know whose there mum....hmmm....

  • i absolutey hate when the camera man focuses on every one else but tony during solos...

  • These was glory days for the band

  • Comment removed

  • ok so toni is a devout christian an the people like u who crucified christ line is explaind but how bout the pope on the end of a rope? what the story behind that ?

  • The lyrics go "Would you like to see the pope on the end of a rope, do you think he's a fool?"

Kinda self explanatory- just questions ones religious views.

  • Borninkill...

The lyrics explain themselves rather well...

  • Lol Ozzy has an autocue at his feet for the words. And HE wants to sue a band he couldn't bother learning the words for?

  • Is Black Sabath ozzy osbourne? Why does he have two names than?

  • Black Sabbath is: Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Bill Ward and Tony 'Geezer Butler. Ozzy Osbourne left in 1979, his solo albums are referred to as Ozzy Osbourne's albums. Some of his solo songs are Crazy Train, Bark at the Moon, Dreamer etc. Theres a major difference between the two.

  • Thanks for the tip Al Gore.

  • Umm its Terrence "Geezer" Butler noob

  • Well, actually its Tony. And you both pieces of idiotic shit can go fuck your mothers with a broom handle.

  • You wrote Tony 'Geezer' Buttler...

    Geezers name is Terrence...

Learn Sabbath, then view their video material..

  • he left at 1978....

  • Jesus fucking Christ, are you people nerds? Don't you have lives? Don't you have better things to do, other than ALWAYS HAVING TO BE RIGHT, does it make you feel better or something? Man, you people are pathetic, get out of the fucking house. 1978 or 1979 I don't give a fuck, Tony or Terrence, let's have a conniption fit over it.

  • Hare Krishna!!!

  • Daniel Son you much huma!!!

  • Black Sabbath is one of my favourite bands, but Ozzy's vocals are terrible in this live performance. No offence to the man; he was one of the creators of metal (though to a lesser degree than Iommi and probably Butler as well), but I think the time is more than ripe for him to retire from music.

  • Fuck you ozzy is the best for ever you suck sonofabich go to hell man you esso! LIVE LONG OZZY!!

  • I must say that I am stunned by your amazing, superior intellect. Your post is the most reflective, thoughtful and analytic piece of discourse that I have read in quite some time. Congratulations! People like you make the world a place worth living in.

  • I agree, rigstula; it is surely somewhat adolescent to believe that even the great Ozzy Osbourne is anything less than human and that our heroes are any less vulnerable than ourselves. Good God - John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix and Elvis are dead, if you need any more proof of that ...

  • still respect he is doing it alive ... he is not pretending like most of modern artist who are spending months to record an album and their performance ... "singing" using playback ... I think he should sing and have fun untill there are people who want to listen to him

  • Oh, I didn't mean to suggest that Ozzy and Black Sabbath are washed up or anything like that. They're still awesome, even unequalled, in live performance; all I'm suggesting is that Ozzy's vocal powers are beginning to falter somewhat, but that's only to be expected in a man of 60. Rock on, Ozzy and Sabbath - and as piotrwrotek says, respect to them for playing live and not to some crappy backing track.

  • yea but if u listen ozzy sounds just like he did live in the 70s chech it out

  • Yeah, there are some videos on YouTube which only go to show that Ozzy and the rest of Sabbath are as good as they ever were, way back in the early 70s.

  • Comment removed

  • By the way, if you are too mentally disabled to see that I am making fun of you, I just want to say thank you for giving me a good laugh and proving my arguments right by your blind hatred and anger. This is all the time I shall waste on you, though. You are a funny little worm, but I would appreciate it if you now could please crawl back into the stinky pile of excrement you emerged from and (preferably) stay there.

  • Totally agreed, I saw Ozzy perform not too long ago and it was painful to see. His album material is also extremely weak at this point. He needs to hang it up...

  • Haaa, Haaa,, Ok , I agree with youer comment's ... Ozzy sounds so, so Terrible in this video ,(almost Humorous )!!!! But we all know who pulls Ozzys string's , (Sharon). And if she has her say,, poor Ozzy will be singing, till death,, (even if he was in a wheel/chair),...Ha, HA , Jeez ,this song make's me laugh....

  • got to love ''after forever''.....1st time i ever seen them do it live.....to bad they never did it back in the day.....people never gave this song a chance.....yes its about , religion and all its goodness, but people mistake this song as evil, cause narrow minded people here....''would you like to see the pope on the end of a rope'' and they figure its an evil song....god this song was totally heavy when i first heard it in '72.....all sabbaths songs are underrated gems.....sabbath rules

  • love the band but that was fuckin rubbish hell my band could of out did that shit

  • Well the heaviest christian rock would be As I Lay Dying, their song Confined sealed that deal easily. But ,as always, we all owe the big debts to Sabbath. They were ahead of their time. They crafted the truest form of Heavy Metal, but then would tackle the pro-christian element of it and take a
