Shenzhen Nanjing Technology - who did this crap - are retards. They HAVE Golden Sun music ported to the NES. The main theme, and the Venus Lighthouse one... and they didn't bother using them in THIS game! Instead, you get TWO tracks all the way through the game. Yes, TWO: the happy music all the way in game, and the other one during battle secenes.

Oh, this comes from someone who beat MANY of these Chinese bootlegs without knowing Chinese.

The Mother series was started with a NES RPG... now its one of the most demanded series around! not bad considering only Japan got the first, less than half the world got the second, and only Japan got the third!

While it is a great series on par with Golden Sun, only Mother 2 (Earthbound) was released in English officially, sadly.

While it may seem well known, the vast majority of people in North America have no idea what it is. Nintendo thought they would make more money with other projects, not that Mother 1+3 wouldn't make money, which is why only Earthbound was translated.

I could see the same thing happening to Golden Sun if it was released back then.

You may be thinking of Mother 1+2, which was only released in Japan.

There have been fan-made translations of Mother 1 and 3 (albeit on ROMs), and the official, unreleased translation of Mother 1 was leaked as a ROM at some point, but Earthbound was the only game in the series officially released in English.

Better? SMW was just standard 2D sprites, bright colors, and simple animations. It maybe looked cleaner then GS due to it's simplicity, but to say it looked better? I can't agree.

The GBA was a 32 bit platform while the SNES was a 16 bit. Besides sound quality, I think the GBA was the more powerful one.

I'd like a GS on a non handheld too. I just hope it would take advantage of the hardware instead of being safe.

How so. SMW's graphics didn't really push the SNES. They looked better then SMB3, but it wasn't a gigantic leap. Paralax scrolling aside (which Kirby started to use on the NES), it was just brighter with some more details. The game ages gracefully and will never be ugly, but it's just that appearance wise, it was nothing too special.

Those 16 extra bits to the GBA have to mean something right?
