@TheShootHappy mass stalker doesnt work cus of their slow fire rate and the fact that they are armored. it'll usually take like a 3 to 1 ratio of stalkers to beat mass voids and you have to add in the fact that they will charge up on them. all of the other races have an effective counter to mass voids, zerg have hydras, terran have marines and vikings but protoss doesnt really have an effective counter.
My partner got dropped in a 2v2 and I just drone/probe rushed. :P Still had like 1 drone and 1 probe mining and was building up while I attacked. So not exactly cheese cus I could actually recover from it :P

It can be cheese, cheese means that you sacrifise your economy, but if you cannon rush, your most likely to focus your fire on the cannons in your base, so you could use cannons as a defense for your own base, its like your turtling, but you're building them in his base instead of yours, and while the "victim" is attacking the cannons in his base you have time to get both a good army and a good economy. If it's terran then they can just fly their CC to their natural and then attack you immediately without losing anything (maybe their gas). I don't play Protoss so I'm not sure how they counter. But I don't see why they can't just rush your base.They don't have to bother with the cannons.

APM increases as you get better at using hotkeys quickly, macroing well by multitasking effectively, and having effective micro. Like with playing guitar, once your fingers can move accurately (ie hotkeys) and you know the song (ie macro and build order), only then can you play it well (effective apm) at a good speed (lots of apm).
@OneUnluckyMan I totally understand. There is a lot to be learned from this guy's attitude alone. I tend to be lazy/pessimistic about life in general, and I find Day9's positivity infectious :P
Hey Day9. on a map with close team spawns. how do you feel about 1 person teching (lets say...cloaked banshee + a few marries) and the other teammate focusing on defence (lots of lings and some roach). pooling his teammate gas to set up a crushing "counter attack"

As a terran player, I usually find myself having waaay to many minerals, but not enough gas to build anything (mid to late game). What do I do about this?
@CaptPlaceholder i mean the risk of having extra bases and them being destroyed is better than just not using minerals. and thats the only way ull get more gas
@CaptPlaceholder well you can expand like the other people have said wich is smat.since its mid to late game you probably have thors/tanks or some other huge mech units. so i would probably recommen throwing down a few extra barracks and pump a lot of marines just because with big mech to soke up damage marines will increase the dps of your army hugely since yiu can pump so many of them. hope that helps gl and hf
@CaptPlaceholder produce suefficient unit producing structure+work on ur math for unit composition. Its impossible to go tank-raven-banshee for a reason. Usually, u can dump all the extra minerals for THE highest dps unit in terran for same amount of resource spend = marines, but its not the only way. just watch out for AOE dealers + work ur unit composition to be effective. Also expand whenever possible. always. also watch out for accidental unsaturated gas. (u pulled off and forgot to put in)

cool i was on day9 - neuromancer.....but i think it was my brother because my apm is a lot higher, i play mostly 1's ...i would never have 1200 fucking gas, my micro stutter stepping with marines is way better, and that orbital command is stupid late, at some point it can be good, but wow.
I like this since I'm a low level player who likes to play 2v2 with my equally low, or even lower, level player friends. But I find the idea is too simplified; is teching just going beyond tier 1? The way I play with some friends is that I, as zerg, harass our opponents, first with speedlings and then with mutas, if this works out my friend will eventually have carriers and we win (it is very hard not to die to 10 carriers!).
I certainly believe learning at fastest is the best. You can allways slow down or pause the replays to see what could be done in certain situations. But if you learn something in a slower speed you will have to re-learn it again at a faster speed anyway.

Hey Day9. on a map with close team spawns. how do you feel about 1 person teching (lets say...cloaked banshee + a few marries) and the other teammate focusing on defence (lots of lings and some roach). pooling his teammate gas to set up a crushing "counter attack"

As a terran player, I usually find myself having waaay to many minerals, but not enough gas to build anything (mid to late game). What do I do about this?

@CaptPlaceholder well you can expand like the other people have said wich is smat.since its mid to late game you probably have thors/tanks or some other huge mech units. so i would probably recommen throwing down a few extra barracks and pump a lot of marines just because with big mech to soke up damage marines will increase the dps of your army hugely since yiu can pump so many of them. hope that helps gl and hf

@CaptPlaceholder produce suefficient unit producing structure+work on ur math for unit composition. Its impossible to go tank-raven-banshee for a reason. Usually, u can dump all the extra minerals for THE highest dps unit in terran for same amount of resource spend = marines, but its not the only way. just watch out for AOE dealers + work ur unit composition to be effective. Also expand whenever possible. always. also watch out for accidental unsaturated gas. (u pulled off and forgot to put in)

cool i was on day9 - neuromancer.....but i think it was my brother because my apm is a lot higher, i play mostly 1's ...i would never have 1200 fucking gas, my micro stutter stepping with marines is way better, and that orbital command is stupid late, at some point it can be good, but wow.

I like this since I'm a low level player who likes to play 2v2 with my equally low, or even lower, level player friends. But I find the idea is too simplified; is teching just going beyond tier 1? The way I play with some friends is that I, as zerg, harass our opponents, first with speedlings and then with mutas, if this works out my friend will eventually have carriers and we win (it is very hard not to die to 10 carriers!).

I certainly believe learning at fastest is the best. You can allways slow down or pause the replays to see what could be done in certain situations. But if you learn something in a slower speed you will have to re-learn it again at a faster speed anyway.
