Sure Zlatan made a lot of work playing football in the "backyard" with a lot of other kids from his neighborhood, but he sure got a LOT of help from coaches.
Im an professional handballplayer with German genes. But I all my training where done in Sweden so I wouldnt go and thank Germany for my talent... A second nationality is not what made Zlatan good...

Deenijel is right. Zlatan/His dad approached Bosnia and Croatia and they said no to him. This was while he was still a youngster. So you could say that Zlatan got mad at the two national teams and went to swedens national team. Zlatan is Croatian and Bosnian, he doesnt feel like he is, he feels more swedish and I respect that.

He was born and raised in a place named Malmo. In Malmo almost everybody was an immigrant of former Yugoslavia or an other country. There were only a few sweeds.
he learned to play football in a small club named FK Balkan. That club was settup by a guy from former Yugoslavia. In FK Balkan almost every kid was from former Yugoslavia or Brazil. There were only a few full blood swedish kids.
