Actually, the Vref speed in this video is a little high. Instead of 145, it should be around 125-130. I made this video before the second patch came out for the MD-81. Before the patch, as seen in this video, I had to put the landing speed around 145. If i had not, the approach would have been very chaotic(a lot of high pitch nose ups which led to stalls). However, CLS fixed the problem. It is one of the best payware planes you can buy. Thanks for the comment:)

My bad! I did not see your comment. Yes, It does have a FMC. However, it is a very simple FMC so only basic changes can be made. It's not like the PMDG MD-11. I highly recommend the MD-81 still.

Well, you have to have the proper takeoff config. I suggest performing the tutorial flight. It helps a lot!

Thanks for such a nice comment. Yes, I did use Sony Vegas Pro 10. When I made this video, I used the Contrast Slider and Soft Moderate Contrast preset. For my FSX, I also use ENB Series. ENB changes the color settings in game. I think I also used black restore slider too. I don't use the same settings for every video, so I can't really tell you exactly. contrast slider, soft moderate preset, ENB Series, and black restore are what I use in general.

Yes, It was an ILS approach. I disengaged the autopilot around 400ft and landed it manually. I'm going to be coming out with an MD-11 video here soon with a full autolanding. Thanks for the comment.

Yes, I guess you could say I am rather "desperate." I figure most "gamers" are looking for Modern Warfare or Bad company, so I will lead them to this page instead. I think it is worth it. I gave up on all the new FPS games. They are all the same and get boring after a while. The only action game I ever play anymore is Battlefield 2142. I do not know how one is supposed to get views anymore. People put up laggy FSX videos and get a 1000 views in one day. LOL, thanks for the comment:)

Yes, I would have to agree. I don't own FS9, so I can't make assumptions, but YouTube videos do all the explaining I need. I can render my videos in 1080p, but watching them in 1080p on YouTube, my internet connection can't keep up. It gets "jumpy." It has nothing to do with my physical specs for my computer. 720p does not seem to affect the "Internet performance," so I usually watch it in 720p. As for how FSX looks, yes, HD really makes them "pop" out. Thanks for the comment SlashTruck:)
