One thing I dont get is why the guy doesnt wear a helmet. With all this stuff flying around all its gonna take is a small caliber headshot, or some dirt in his eyes.

@vbroskas Maybe the air outside is polluted, or if you know about the background of the Astartes.. They CAN be killed with small cal. round if youre really lucky.. (Allthougth their skull are reinforced, they are by no means god like and unkillable, so a Ceramite helm is actually a quite good idea.. An orks bolt action gun is actually a high cal.

@striderscanner Go an play the imperial guard then.. Space Marines are supposed to be the epitome of up and close (after all, since the mk. VII (7) power armour came out, its all day meant to protect you from blades to bullets.. and a tactical approach that i like is, the enemy has a harder time hitting you, when youre up and close in his face.. :-p

I hate being below age 15. I just was in town ready to buy this when the store guy says "This is a incredibly over the top violent game" to my mother and she totally freaks out and says she wont let me buy, even though i played gears of war. Its total shit because violent video games dont make me a violent person. You dont see gamers walk into a bar and have tough bikers slipping out the back door.

Games don’t demand deep thinking from the player, so they can recreate once and again with killing and dismembering like a caveman brutal. They think that walking through an scenario, spreading blood and earning game-system points is the most original thing that mankind has conceived.

Or maybe, people want to do something else in their free-time than being a thinker and a planner. In other words, people want to relax their heads, going through a movie-like scenario ala Heavy Rain isn't as relaxing as venting your emotions on fictional characters while you pretend to be a superman.

If I wanted "Deep thought" I'd read a book. Also this is not the most original scenario mankind has ever conceived.

@Tarik360 I think maybe you are right. I was just a little bit stressed because I felt frustrated. I've been a gamer for far too many years, and I'm a little bit tired of watching the same old ideas being developed once and again, only with better Graphics.

But you are right, there was a time when I enjoyed releasing daily stress playing games and feeling part of a much more simple but also more heroic world. I'm asking for Sesame str. chars to have more meaningful plots, still I'd love that.

I have finished it just yesterday, Captain Titus was arrested by the inquisitors in the end of the game after he killed lord nemeroth... He was arrested because he was the only space marines who can take and fight against the dark forces of chaos...epic gameplay by the way

Terrible game - most frustrating ever made. If you are not standing in exactly the millionth of a pixel they have created for you, none of your buttons work, despite the game telling you to press them. It's like standing on the beach and trying to throw sweetcorn pieces into the turret of a gun 1500 miles off shore. Don't buy it...and don't let anyone let you think this is even a 1000th of Gears. It's nowhere near as good in any department and I'm a PS, not an X-Box owner.

@cloudinfinity I can't get anywhere near past the space turret gun part, when the ship is above and the 'orcs' keep dropping from it and you have to reach the plasma gun and shoot it. I hit it about 3 times, then the orcs drop and then when I go back to the plasma gun it tells me to 'press circle' but it won't let me use it. I've died at least 50 times and nearly smashed my TV up!

So, a hack and slash with guns, the ability to overpower every single enemy, completely bland set of attacks and skills, and they're hyping this up to better games. Except FF, which was just a little more boring than this game looks.

Because highly advanced humans with warships and lasers are TOTALLY going to MARCH into ORCS with weapons, and not just go "Meh" and kill them all from a safe place. Makes sense to America!

@moronsonofborn i don't know where you're getting WoW from (maybe the orks I guess), but warhammer 40K came out in the 80's, games like starcraft and halo got their ideas from the warhammer universe. In terms of gameplay, if you download the demo you'll see that it has some Gears elements but in the end is still unique because it seamlessly switches between 3rd person shooting and 3rd person hacking and slashing. Not every 3rd person shooter is a rip off of Gears man.

@Leavesdriftin777 trust me on this, its not dynasty warriors, i thought it was too but really the only thing similar is theres alot of enemy's on screen you gotta take down but it really feels different, they dont rehash levels, the weapons feel completly different in every way, and the shooting to meelee really is a uniqu feeling, other games have done it before but they pulled it off flawlessly,

its really satisfying to be in soom gunning down a orde then seemlessly meelee a behind attack
