Is this year supposed to be different?? I would like to experience this event--Any tips on where people stay?? (camping for the most inexpensive??

Or is it difficult to get accomadations with so many people attending???

Last time it was mainly youth and childen's choirs - this time it's time for the adults.

I'm afraid I can't give you any tips concerning accomodation - I always stay with Estonian friends.

This year is the year of the big festival. :) It will be awesome and I will sing there, I mean if we get through the competition. It´s quite a struggle to get to sing there, because there are a lot of singers who want to be there this time. :) But I hope I´ll see you there ;)

Schade dass es sowas nicht in Deutschland gibt. Hoffe sie besinnen sich noch mehr auf ihre alten Wurzeln und Traditionen und lassen sich nichts mehr von anderen diktieren.

It's been really impressive. I have never been to anything quite like this.

But of course I can just take the songs as songs and I am ignorant of their cultural and political context.
