  • Beautiful!....Is the glaze from Sherwin Williams too? Is it oil based as well? How about the antique white? Is that oil or latex based? I'd like to practice on my bathroom cabinets before taking on the kitchen. Thanks in Advance!

  • @dtaylor835 The paint I used is latex. The top coat is a clear oil base varnish which tends to yellow over time. All materials can be purchased at any paint store.

  • Very nice work. Did you use a brown glaze as well? If so, do you apply it before the oil base clear coat? Again, looks great and what classic work to have it looking so good after 8 years!

  • Yes, I used a medium brown over antique white. I let it dry 24 hrs before applying the oil base clear coat. Oil base tends to yellow over time but gives a beatiful tone. Thanks, Pat

  • nice but the slabs are a mistake

  • what colors were used in this project? The cabinets are gorgeous.

  • Thanks, for the compliment! The color is Sherwin Williams antique white with an oil base clear coat over the top. The oil paint tends to yellow over time and gives it a yellowish tone. Thanks again, Pat Nevin

  • Color is antique white with oil top coat
