Well, it looks like he was right about Al Qaeda in Pakistan and that Iraq was the wrong target. He said this before the election, but he's always wrong to some no matter what the outcome. He gets no credit for a successful mission, but would surely have gotten the blame for a failed one. I want the nation to succeed regardless of who's in office. The instability of that nation and the radical control over large portions by the Taliban allowed terrorist groups to arm and train their men to bring the war to American and European soil. Until there is a viable and stable democratic government, fairly elected by the Afghani people, NATO and UN forces should not withdraw. Democracy in Afghanistan should be our ultimate goal. US combat deaths have risen since US President Barack Obama ordered a troop buildup to confront a resurgent Taliban, with a record 44 US troops killed in Afghanistan in July.
As long as there is US forces in Afghanistan so Americans get killed - instead if they invaded to Afghanistan for protecting Afghans from terrorists. And Its my suggestion rather for America's government withdraw its forces back to the United States.

The instability of that nation and the radical control over large portions by the Taliban allowed terrorist groups to arm and train their men to bring the war to American and European soil. Until there is a viable and stable democratic government, fairly elected by the Afghani people, NATO and UN forces should not withdraw. Democracy in Afghanistan should be our ultimate goal. Democracy leads to peace.

If the US leaves Afghanistan (and other parts of the world), it will give people less incentive to want to do the US harm.
Afghan's don't want the US there any more than the Soviets. The best solution for Obama is to pull the troops back. The war is going to end badly for the US anyway. And by badly, I mean bankruptcy and thousands of soldiers killed all for a people that don't want to step up and embrace change.

Get a B1 bomber. Strap Oprah under one wing and strap Michelle under the other wing. Fly the bomber over Afghanistan and THREATEN that you will drop Oprah and Michelle on them if they don't surrender Osama Bin Laden. Just that treat will bring Al Qaeda to the negotiating table.

If you want to succeed in Afghanistan and Pakistan you need to become Genghis Khan. He was the only man that succeeds in this part. Hence this is the key, so think about my idea and how you will see successes, but first option should to be Pakistan, because it is the eye of storm.

Al Qaeda is no longer in Afghanistan. They are in Pakistan. Making the Taliban into Al Qaeda is similar to when BUSH made Sadaam into Bin Laden...stupid beyond belief.

I wish he would think. I just wish he thought about the problem. I hate to say this, but Bush and Obama have made the same mistake. They think they can win a war and keep every civilian, every UN person, and every Geneva Convention person happy. You don't win a war with clean hands. It has never been done. So either stop trying and wasting our troops lives, or man up and do what needs to be done. Thats how Israel is still standing, but it's why they are so hated.

you are right man, but my question is why Pakstan suppurting milltant group in Kashmir and the same case is for Afghanistan. who gives them wepeans and sources, none of the Talib leaders has been captured in last operation yet in Pakistan. Just a war dram has been played in the North part of the coutry but none of the Talib leader is captured or killed. why Pakistan don't suppurt Islamic moment in China they are also muslims . becouse you know better.
