As a police officer, we need John McCain in office to carry the Bush legacy and give us more discretionary powers to make this country a safer place to live in. The liberals will only give more rights to child molesters, serial rapers, and murderers because they are only out for the criminal and not the victim; police departments across the globe will be open to more of these frivolous lawsuits implemented by these criminals because we inflicted "bodily harm" to them. Cops should never have wives and kids; as a cop, you have a very short life expectancy of about 55-65 years; a focused cop should always expect gunfire from something as trivial as a routine traffic stop to a major hostage standoff; if you do not want to break your wife and kids heart by getting killed, stay single while in this occupation until you get an office job with that department.

I lived in Colorado at the time Ofc. Byrne was killed. It's tragic, especially since I was an explorer with the ambulance service there, where my father was also a paramedic.
When I come to the end of the road and the sun has set for me I want no rites in a gloom filled room why cry for a soul set free miss me but let me go for this is a journey that we must all take and each must go alone its all part of the masters plan a step on the road to home miss me but let me go when you are lonely and sick of heart go to friends we know and bury your sorrow in doing good deeds miss me but let me go!
too sad. in washington state in 1 year 5 police officers died while on duty. 1 did recently but it was from a health problem. 1 of the deputys i kind of knew personaly most knew him by the name of superman but i called him steve. he was shot and killed when going to a noise complaint call. i helped out at his memorial service and i was more then happy to help out an old friend. in life and death. RIP Deputy steve cox and RIP to all the other fallen officers

Yeah, I know. I have been told that by several other people too. But at the funeral a person who was giving a speech said something similar to how I put it there.
