Well explained & good instructions, but it's hard to believe what a mess the side of the inside back is, why didn't you finish that bit off before you fixed the outside back on?
man this is great im in mexico, im carpenter trying to learn some new this to be more creative thanks for the time u take to help us the new on uphlostery really apreciate keep doing this
Great video, i love doing this kinda stuff. i'm currently covering a Bedroom Tub Chair for my mum. Just came on YT to refresh my memory on how it's done and learn a few more new skills! ;)
Great video! Have a two questions for you... You didn't show us how to use the protective sleeve for the metal tack strip. How do you install that and at what point in the process is it instealled? What type of stample gun do you suggest? I have a one (worth about $50) but the staples don't go in smoothly - they rarely go in flush and they often get scrunched up when they do go in. Do I just need a more powerful gun?
THANKS IT IS SO USEFUL. IM JUST A LITTLE BIT IN PROBLEM , im not sure do I have some tools in Croatia, like ply grip, and that metal stripes with neadles on.. what you just used at the end of video.
but thanks , video is very clear and easy to understand
Thank you so much for this demonstration. I thought I was going to have to figure it out on my own.

Thanks for posting this and helping us "do it yourself" types. Although after seeing this I may just let a pro upholster my chair for me.

Thanks for the excellent instruction. I'm doing a tub chair with a rounded back. Is ply grip a better choice for following the curves?

I suppose the edge that is left is the most difficult bit. :)
