  • Not sure if you check your youtube account any more, but I just want to thank you again for making this wonderful build.

  • Your builds remind of a mech from the mechwarrior series.... the one im refferring to is called the Vulture Mk. II

  • I miss CH sooooo badly...! It's Ufin...My main man Ufin and his Viking...! Yaaaaaayyyy...!

  • I miss CH sooooo badly...!

  • I made SOL-Akuma and it only lost one battle in its entire history. And I was fighting 3 on 1 most of the time. It was such an amazing build and seeing this video in my favorites list made me want to play chromehounds again. I actually made a commander that would be pretty decent online but I can't test it.

THUMBS UP IF YOU WANT SEGA TO REACTIVATE CHROMEHOUNDS SERVERS!

  • nice music

  • I had builds back when I used to play this that were literally invincible. My Iron Crusader build ripped through just about everything. Nuf said.

  • I know Chromehounds is dead, but I just wanted to post to say thank you for the most epic soldier build I've ever had. I built other things on it, but you gave me some good times, and your builds look professional, too. God bless you for your services to the Xbox Live community.

  • Okay, finally got both of them to work, and I can say this;

Your builds are so awesome, everyone in my squad has asked me for the Akuma. None of them care that they don't have most of the parts either!

  • Something's wrong with the Obake. The load of something has changed, as has the shape of the Anelace. I can no longer get everything into the HOUND the way you specify.

  • No, wait, I forgot you missed out all Rafzakael armor, including cockpit armor. Never mind my babbling.

  • And I STILL CAN'T SEE WHICH WEAPON SD YOU USED.

  • SOL-Akuma uses 4 Falchions

SOL-Obake uses 3 Anelace and 3 RFZ Grenades

The entire parts list is in the side and at the end of the video.

  • No, System Device. I worked it out anyway, sorry to be a whiny bitch. You do kinda move too fast.

  • Sorry I misunderstood. I double the speed of the build section to save time since I've noticed that at normal speed people stop watching.

  • Sorry, just one thing. It took me one whole day to work out which parts were which , because you were going so FRICKIN' FAST.

  • Replace these with Sabers for an extremely efficient sniper build. Don't forget to make every cannon into a separate weapon group in that case, because the recoil will guarantee at least one miss, and then you're just wasted one of less than a standard full clip of sniper shells.

  • I don't think this build would do well with snipers. I have other builds for that sort of thing so I can't say I've tried it on this style of hound but my gut tells me it probably would be too unstable.

I only show the main weapon groups since I believe that individual groupings are implied and so a waste of the 10 minute video limit to show.

  • Do you have to join a particular side to gain access to these parts?

  • Yes parts are limited to specific nations.

  • ok i iz blind

    whos ur partner?

and i love the 3cannon hybrid. gotta make it and test it out b4 the server is shut down

  • It's Ufin with his viking cannon build.

  • do i hear an initial D song in the background?? (second song)

    either way, nice shooting!!!

  • You heard correctly

  • The designs seem simple but are rather effective.....I like

  • That's the idea. The KISS principle extends to all things.

  • I've been using KE ammo now for a while to see why people use it. Found out KE sucks, so what am I doing wrong?

  • KE flies faster than CE and can take down bases. Take advantage of the speed by fighting at longer ranges than you would with CE and make it clear that if they don't put themselves between you and their base they're going to lose.

  • some guy tried this hound on me earlier today...i own3d him with my anti hound missles ^_^

  • lol - anti-hound missiles pwn anyone who panics and doesn't know how to fight them.

  • How exactly do you fight them?

We are talking heat seekers right?

  • Heats seekers? You have to get assist parts called missile counters and when you get missiles shot at you you press LT and the cant lock onto you.

  • Missile counters are garbage. They fire too slowly to be of use against a triple heat seeker.

The key is a speed of 160 or greater and then moving at a 45 degree angle from the person firing the missiles. Do it right and they'll never hit you.

  • Yes heat seekers.

  • in europe the server has been down fpr days. any americans is it like that over there?

  • servers back wooo

  • the rfz nades are better for stripping, they were never patched so their splash has remained the same

  • Do they? I haven't noticed really myself.

  • yeah, i think so, i got told by a few veteran players, and after stripping a sniper in 4 volleys of normal nades (mushmis) undamaged otherwise and then doing the same with rfz let me strip him in 3 so, i do believe, i dunno, i seem to do better with them anyway so....

  • They have a flatter trajectory which is nice sometimes I think. Dunno - I'd need to do some really detailed comparisons to make sure it's not just my perception messing with me.

  • was that ufin running that stuart sidewinder?

  • Yeah he was.

  • i don't have my 360 cuz i'm at school right now, but the stuart has a higher CE defense than the C110 if i recall correctly? i may be way off, but like i said, i can't check. grades over games :(

  • Yes the Stuart has a slightly higher CE defense (38 vs 30).

A good resource is the choromehounds addicted game site. Just google those three words and you should fine it!

  • Great builds as always! SOL-Kaonashi has worked perfectly for me, so I'm sure these refined versions will be better;)

  • Yeah Akuma is a big leap up in imho

  • Why RFZ grenades? why not mushmis?

  • Weight reasons. The RFZ's are only slightly inferior to the Mushmis and the saved weight lets me put a heavier piece of armor in front of the legs. You could use a lighter piece of armor down there and switch to Mushmis if that's what you prefer.

  • i pieced together your first build and it worked a treat. I then dropped the side shield and used 4 flanberg cannons instead of the falchions for accuracy purposes and i'm in love, thanks for the idea sweet design.

  • Glad you liked it! lemme know how it works for you!

  • One damn smooth machine, True!

This is the Hound that will convince me to take up cannon hounds! I like when people use the ushb! Its underrated.

  • Thanks! The Ushb doesn't have many uses but it works well in this case!

  • The reason the first sniper didnt move is because you had KE.. You were out of effective range

  • The KE range doesn't mean it deals no damage - it means that the shells begin to fall and loose power AFTER that range. The shells themselves still deal damage well after that range. You'll note the first hit he moved - he felt the damage and thought he was evading. He most likely thought he got hit from the front and was moving under cover.

  • I haven't played ChromeHounds in some time, but both look like good builds.

    Nightmare and Ghost, good names.

  • And good music too:).

  • Thanks! Since this is all based on the original Jap cannon I've been trying to stick with Japanese names a kind of homage.

  • Nice builds and nice game play.

    - Dak

  • Thanks!

  • what happens when the genny is taken out?

  • Performance only really degrades when both gens AND the legs are taken out. In that case... well... you're not in a good place anyway. So far I've only had that happen seconds before death. Losing just a gen or the legs or the legs & one gen does not diminish the performance much.

  • awsome im in this one:D:D favorited right away!;) (it did get 5 stars before i came that far;D)

again, keep makin your own stuff! dont be like the rest, be your own hound and the best:D

    love ufin

  • Glad you liked it! Yeah the cannon hound is pretty tough - rather fond of it.

The cannon/nade mix is interesting. I've had pretty good luck with it in practice but yeah the front section is awfully soft. I'd prefer something else there but weight is very tight.

  • the cannon look good:D shoots ok with them KE.

the cannon nad`r dough looks very fragil:( from genny and up to the nads is a very soft area. threw nads and genny a CE shootin opponent will be devastating to you:( i would shoot the top atleast...

keep tweaken and posting:D (ignore my inputs if they are workin for you, its just what i feel)

    love ufin

  • Nice =] I tried out the Obake in both neomius and freebattle and was fairly successfull in both cases! Keep up the good hounds and if you ever want to free battle or war, my GT is bowser962!

  • Glad it's working for you!
