this could have been better. There are much better places in Istanbul and not all the traditional get togethers look like this. They didn't need to go to the slums to make this video. You would know what I mean if turkish to went to some shabby poor neighborhoods in Korea and made a video about korean food. but regardless turkish food is awsome korean food is my second favorite!!!

but everyone knows that the shabby places have the best tasting food. in LA, the best mexican food is always the hole in the wall places. besides, korean food is all about the cheap stuff. expensive food was never eaten except for the yangban class which made up less than 10%. if you go to korea, the street vendors are the best.

i guess it can go both ways in Turkey. Some mid-high range famous restaurants are packed all the time because of their secret recipes and specials, street foods is awsome too but i wouldn't say the slums are notorious for their delicious cooking..best mexican food I have eaten though was from a school bus on the side of the road ;-)) i think mexican food's taste is inversely proportional to the richness of it's surroundings

Turkey is definitely my favorite country in the world~*! I live in Germany and I have 2 Turkish roommates in my student dormitory~*! They are sooooo nice~*! When I was 4 years old....my neighbour was also a Turkish girl. She was my best friend when I was in elementary school~* MOST WARM HEARTED PEOPLE in the world~*! BEST FOOD~*! I LOVE TURKEY~*KOREA & TURKEY FOREVER~*! ^_^

feel the same..koreans here are very friendly..especially when they hear i am from Turkey..i get this very warm welcome.but as much as I love our turkish food..when I stay in Turkey more than two weeks I miss hot bowl of sundobu ;-p, my other favorites are the seafood pancake(sorry don't know korean name) with some soju..also I love love love kimchee especially raw crab ones..yummm
