You got to know John Denver is smiling down with a thumbs up when he see's a young one working so hard to carry on the tradition of bringing country music to the masses.

    amen

  • This song will be around a thousand year after we are all dead and forgotten you can replace W.Virginia with any state..city..or town where you grew up and have fond memories of friends and family.

  • this is great. the accents give it a humorous effect. btw, there are places in the u.s. where the local accent is a bit like that. in parts of massachusetts and parts of rhode island, the local accent tends to make the "r" sound like a "w" sound, so that "rabbit" sounds like "wabbit". i think elmer fudd sounded like that.

  • @coventrygardens i've lived in boston and western mass all my life and spent a good deal of time in rhode island. i assure that there are no "wabbits". only "cahs and pahks"

  • Blowin rike a Bleeze, to da pwace I beyong! ! Countly Loads take me home to da Pwace i beyong. Lest Vilginia...HAHA, they beyong on the Gong Show!

  • LMAO at this videos description!

  • Nice

  • You guys did good considering english is one of the hardest languages to learn! So keep it up guys!

  • lol english is a very easy language to learn....i know people from 46 dif nationalities and no one had any trouble learning it! Try learning Cambodjen or something!

  • naah, eng is hard for lotsa ppol since sum have accents and then grammar, and sentence structure, and plethora of synonyms for words, so..yeh, but chinese wud be a hard one along with cambodian ^^p

  • Chinese writing and intonation would be hard I think. The word order is similar to English though, so that makes one aspect of it easier than Japanese. Japanese superimposed Chinese writing onto their language (which was originally unrelated to Chinese) so it's a serious mess. It doesn't help with learning Chinese either haha.

I heard there's a CIA foreign language camp. They rate how difficult languages are to learn for native English speakers. It all depends on your native language..

  • It depends where you're starting from. If your first language is Germanic (i.e. Dutch, German, Swedish etc.) then you'll have a very easy time learning English because they all have the same ancestor language "proto-germanic." Most every day words like numbers, body parts, days of the week etc. are similar. the Grammar is also similar.

If you're starting from Japanese, English is very hard. I teach English in Japan, and I've met less than 10 people who can speak English w/ a good accent.

  • yeah, true, but on the intonation part, chinese would be harder than jap though

  • hard? you gotta be kidding...

  • xDDDDDDDDD

  • naja.

sweet but don't really good x'DD

  • omq sweet xD

  • Stop writing such stuff, if you hate wondering about the accent why don´t you read the description first? >.> I think the accent sound really cute. xD And the voices are really beautyfull... I like this vid very much. =) Greetings from Germany...

This is an awesome rendition of this song

  • I agree with you. I am so sorry but I clicked the wrong button and gave you a "thumbs down" and now I don't know how to fix it.

  • 尾道じゃんここ!

  • With Aussies the British their accents seem to disappear when singing, but it just doesnt work with these guys.
