Hi Ross, I don't have an ab wheel, but I do ring roll outs with the rings set low to the floor. How do ring roll outs compare to a full standing roll out with a single wheel? I would imagine it's easier in some ways because you travel in an arc with the rings rather than flat on the floor... but you have the instability factor of the rings... ??? I guess i could just go get an ab wheel and compare it for myself, but can you give me your impression/comparison of the two exercises?
@jimsiff - The wheel is a bit more difficult. While instability certainly must be considered (with rings), you tend to get used to it rather quickly. Both are solid movements however.
Ross, I'm still not convinced that you are human... some of the body-weight feats of strength you perform are unreal! Are you sure you're not some sort of cyborg?
I have just reached the capability of doing a few ab rollers while standing but my lower back feeling like its going to break while i do them lol is this normal? like do i just have to keep doing them and eventually my lower back will go used to it? cause i dont want to keep doing it if i find out that i might get hurt and have to lay in a bed for half a year lol
@Yaegle6969 - Listen to the sign. Your low back needs work. The wheel isn't dangerous, but it will point out a deficiency if one exists. You need more time strengthening the back side (which is common).
Brilliant adaptations and household solutions and THEN you do things that are physically impossible for probably 90% of the people on this planet! And you make it look easy!!! Haha
Your vids are always imformative and inspirational. Thank-you.
