@eartshaker123 They do have Kali Instructors I NJ checkout Bayani Warrior in Cranford NJ & There is also a Bakbakan Kali group in Lodi NJ at NJMT and one other guy but if you search you will find all three.
Madangang gabi sayo my fellow martial arts friend, nice hand routine. I suggest to give it an edge by using broken rythm combining with speeding up finishing elements. Systematical training of foot work using awareness and distance drills might enhance fighting skills and helps getting less cut. Good talent you have, keep up the good work and keep training hard, bro! Tiger in Shadow
Nice job fellas good hand drills you both looked good doing it. My only thing is i think you should've shown more stick drills then what you did. Other than that great vid.
Beautiful martial arts. Blocks the motion before fully engaged. Useful against all range. Close distance = kicks less damage. The legs are too open though, if gotten by a ground fighter. Superb upper body defense though! Salamat sa video, Mabuhay
@earthshaker123 I too am a ground fighter but I am a Kali trained fighter.... trust me when I say if u shoot in on these guys u will have your spine severed. Hollow out your waist, keep your chin low and get the hell out of there.... best defence. The winner of a knife fight will still have mortal wounds most likely!!
Interesting techniques. The flow and the moves are deceptively beautiful to look at.... By the way, may I ask kung saan niyo po nabili yung training knife rig niyo? Naghahanap din po kasi ako. Thanks....
I have respect for your art, but I dont agree that in a real fight you would move like this, trying to block the knife and be so close to your opponent. In a real fight, you would be more like some kind of swordsman - keeping long distance and with a quick stabs or cuts trying to break the distance between you and your opponent... but in some brawl this might work, because you have no time to create some distance.
@spinavepradlo Thank you for watching our video. Yes, you're absolutely right. The video is just for demo purposes. But thank you. That was very insightful.
hey guys, get your spelling right! it's PANUNTUKAN, the root word of which is SUNTOK (punch).
people insisting on misspelling it as 'panantukan' should know that it doesn't mean anything in the philippines except sound like a mangled version of the word 'ANTOK' which means SLEEPY! = )
You were very kind. I love my art and while I feel it is a high art, more importantly it is my own art, it is mine, it is me. If you see the love in how I express my art, than I am doing it right. By the way I just posted a , "Killing with Kali" video on youtube, hope you enjoy it when you see it. Hope to meet you someday...Master Ron Saturno and for now on just Ron to you, hope we are now friends of sort.
Brilliant!... AGAIN!... you guys have really nice flow and movement - makes me want to jump on a plane to the Phillipines right now and train! well done and keep 'em coming!

I wish more knife fights in movies looked like this, instead of scenes where the guys forget they're holding a knife and kick each other.
