@CrusaderEmber the facts concerning the living conditions of the iraq people come from oxfam and various NGOs. a huge majority of iraqis i know and have spoken to complain of the shortage of basic needs, even compared to the saddam era. but i would say that Iraq has the potential to have a brighter future, but at the same time, the country could decend into a civil war powered by ethnic and sectarian tensions, which, may i point out, were caused by horrible US planning for the post invasion era

The war made people free to organize, and Iraqis turned against their neighbors because they were Sunni or Shia. There was nothing the US could do to prevent that. To suggest that the Iraqi hatred of their fellow citizens was caused by the US is ludicrous.... They hated each other for roughly 1100 years before there was such thing as a United States of America.

If the U.S. was the only country to supply Iraq then all of the republican guards and Iraqi special forces would of fought Iran with American made rifles, missiles, and tanks. The Iraqi Air Force would of fought Iran with American made fighter jets, but unfortunately for you they didn't.
