i did gatecrasher, godskitchen and cream in 1999 (the year of trance), danced with 35000 party heads at cream on the pierhead millenium eve and rocked cream and 'crasher during 2000. the scene lost its way after that but if you missed it the first time im convinced it will return at some point; these things always do!!!!!!see you out there \o/
its true that the classic trance sound and era has passed but if you take away the nostalgia and rose tinted spectacles there are still some exceptional tracks being made today.....plus the fact the level of production is out of this world now which adds another level of enjoyment for the listener
What can I say after all the beautiful words? I love yous outhere we really miss that trancy sound of the late 98-2004 where is it now? I personally have always loved Ferry Corsten productions so much that this track is his golden peace ever!

The best version by far, nothing beats the trance of these times, and its deeply saddening that it can never be the same again, the best years of my life 1998, 1999, 2000, I was 13 in 98' only young but the power of trance had taken over the world and it was in the air!
Totally, the glory days of trance! I even remember McDonalds using this exact tune on an advert back in '99, your comment about trance taking over the world is so true! Problem is that it'll never be this good again, styles and tastes have changed, not necessarily for the better...
@djsygardner001 i don't see why everybody complains i've listened to like every major trance comp album from 99-2011 and yes i like classic trance more, it more melody and more feeling also power, but today trance is much more diverse and MUCH cleaner sounding (i listen to everything in flac so its jsut the production quality). Listen to ferry corsten comp albums, Alex Morph, Signum, etc... they all still maintain classic trance
@djsygardner001 my absolute favorite version is the taucher mix, because of the super epic breakdown! when i heard it for the first time, i felt soo freaking happy. love trance <3
@DeviateEmcee Haha sorry man, by the way if you like trance with the classic twist, check out some of my stuff :) A track signed to Sean Tyas label, support by some of the big guns, etc. Just thought I'd drop a selfless promo in haha.... just type sy gardner soundcloud in google or of course check my channel, but the best place is soundcloud to hear the latest stuff :)
thanks for the upload mate.youtube took the full version off,and then i went to the smaller version and there i read ur comment.and u have uploaded this just today. i am FUKIN LUCKY>

i agree the best trance was back then - hopefully as it's so popular now with people like us they may start producing great tracks like this
