Jeroen, it seems there's enough video footage to be 8:14 but the audio isn't coming through and only 4:07?

I use mp4 for all my HD vids. PM me if you want YT's current HD 1080 specs so your uploads are the smallest possible.

11 minute HD 1080p vid should be less than 310MB in mp4.

Range between 290MB-310MB depending on amount of animation and transitions.

Since this was 8:14 minutes should be about 232MB in mp4.

The original file probably has some codecs problems I cannot solve. I am experienced mate. I always upload mp4. But mp4, mkv, avi, mov all did give bad results. I have used x264, xvid, you name it. Eventually I have uploaded the original file, which is 555mb

Yeah you're right, probably an issue with the original file then, so it wouldn't matter what encoding you used. Since YT processes all files back into MP4-High Profile, it means there's something in the source.
