  • What do you think, Epiphone Les Paul 100 or Ibanez grgr121ex? for metal, rock, hard rock and stuff like that!

  • @maROOOCK You should make more videos! =D

  • @witchin1 and surelly I will :)

  • Im thinking of getting one of these. It will be my second electric guitar but my first was only an encore strat copy, and i cant afford a standard. Do you reccommend this?

  • Does it stay in tune good???

  • hey man what do you think of this guitar for a beginner?

and would it be good to play like white stripes and sex pistols

  • I took my pickguard off aswell! Horrible creamy colour :L

  • its nice in that color! I got it in Cherry Burst.

  • I'm thinking to buy one. would you recommended this guitar for a guy that have plaid for about a year ? Sorry for bad English.

  • @mrZuperduper

of course! :) very good for start

  • @maROOOCK not only for start!!! :D

  • at monday i ll get mine with a marsal :DDDDDDD

  • I'm really happy for you about this particular pick up I sold you.It suits you well...

  • I thank for that a lot :)

  • I was 100th to like this video I think so.Marek you ROCK!!!

  • I'm not that good ;)

  • if you want this guitar sound great.buy a korean made les paul 100.its sound really good.

  • i own this guitar.. i got to say i wouldn`t chage the pick ups they sound really good.. they got 500 pot. i love this guitar is simply my favourite and i`ve played gibson and stuff this thing just rocks!!

  • if you say so...and have you played PRS? :)

well in my opinion, the changement of pickups is necessary :)

    ROCK ON!

  • @maROOOCK hahaha well you could change the pickups but to me they work fine.... check out mine :)

  • is the neck bolt on?

  • yes...that's maybe the only thing I would like to change

  • I got the guitar and it sucks. It's decent for rock rhythm but sucks for metal and any kind of leads.

And on clear barrchords and picking notes sounds like shit.

I got this guitar last year and I already want a new guitar. This guitar is ok for new guitarist, but this guitar does not have the tone or even the sound for a serious guitar players.

  • thrue, but remember, also gibson can make bad guitar...

by this cheap guitars is allways about luck. And I found in the sea of dead-wooden guitars (the wood is dryed faster) one good sounding piece :)

and of course - did you change the pickups?

  • @maROOOCK

No. didn't change the pick ups. Thinking about some EMGS but after it's all said and done it's not a good enough investment for the LP 100.

Did you charge the pick ups on yours and if so how much did you pay for it?

    btw nice playing.

  • I got lucky also in this...Few months after buying it, one friend offered me Dimarzio Steve's Special pickup for very good price, so I took it and put it in my LP 100 and that's the sound you can hear on this video. And also like this came second-neck pickup :)

EMGs schould be good choice, if you wanna play heavier stuff. My main focus is on rock and hard rock, so passive pickus is suitable. On the other hand,EMGs are pretty hi-priced, so you should rather look for something else - for metal

    thx

  • ok thankx. I just got the pedal so I was wondering how to get that metal distortion....I only get blues one....

  • I have D-tunning there...

  • whats the combination u used in the pedal to get this? Pls reply

  • marshall jackhammer - really dont remember the exact settings

  • nice playing, do you like this guitar i might want to get it

  • @McJeyd

ou yes! really like it...not the greatest, but for that money is more than worth it ;)

  • hey are your strings far away from the fret board

  • Les Paul 100 or Squier Classic Vibe? which is better?

  • dont like Squier at all...try Vintage rather

  • @maROOOCK suurre okay thanksss..

  • no problem ;)

but it´s still a matter of taste

  • hey dude...

    this a real les paul....

only epiphone and gibson make a real les paul....

this guitar cheap because its bolt neck...

    the factory can make more...

this sound is like real epiphone les paul standard but not gibson...

  • does this have a beetter sound than the les paul speciall 2 because i wannaa get one of them for a 3rd guitar?

  • @kelvinbeyioku for a 3rd guitar save more money for a REAL GUITAR. like a gibson, fender, or the ibanez jem.

  • hey man should i get this guitar? is it worth getting? LOL haha sorry im having trouble of what guitar shud i get between an esp or an epiphone.

  • i like how the sound of your video sounds like the outside of a nightclub it sounds cool ps YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Awesome dude whats the name of the song?

  • doesn´t even has a name in fact...

just of songs we used to play with my second band.

  • @maROOOCK hmmmmmmmmmm your second band had a chanel on youtube

  • name of the song?

  • o cool good idea maybe i should do that with mine

  • yo thats not the les paul standard 100 thats the les paul special 2 i can tell the les paul 100 has a pick guard

  • I undid it. This guitar without without pickguard looks nicer to me :)

  • @maROOOCK I took mine, Put Pickup Covers, Took off the picguard, And Replaced The Neck and Tuners and put a Gibson Logo on it

    Everyone is like.

DUDE NICE GIBSON!!! Nothing Like Epiphone.

Then I show em the neckplate (i didnt replace it) LOL

  • you can remove it dude

  • The Special II has only one volume and one tone knob. The 100 has 2 of each like most LP's and copies.

  • i just got one 4 christmas the same color!

  • Sounds nice

... and when you have enough money buy a Yamaha SBG 3000 ;)

  • yamaha?! never

yamaha should have stayed by building motorcycles...and maybe pianos. but not guitars

  • well played. Imagine if he was playing a REAL Les Paul, would sound so much better and easier to play.

    Keep rocking

  • yeah...that´s true and one day I will have money on it ;)

this just a demonstration, that also a cheap guitar can sound pretty well

  • LES PAUL RULE THE PLANET OF ROCK

  • Les paul: BEST GUITAR EVER!

  • cool did u make that up

  • nice dude, this is the sound i hear in my head when people say "Les Paul"

  • Can you tell me the name of this song please?

  • Drop D tunning?

  • no no, classic D tunning

  • great!! do you changed the electric system? or just the pickups and anymore

  • just pickups

  • do reckon that is better then a jackson js30kv or is that better with more effects

  • epi sg is alright, but id rather get this guitar cause my sg always gets the insides of it screwed up, like the treble and rythm. ive had it for like 9 months, and ive had to fixit like 4 times

  • should i get this great looking guitar or should i get an epi SG?!

  • WHAT SONG IS IT??

  • sweet guitar !!!!! grate tone !

  • I have the same Epi!! its great

    this vid is awsome 5*

  • thx dude

  • do you suggest to take off the pickguard or not???

  • doesnt matter for the sound i guess, i got it off cause i like it more but its your choice ^^

  • I would not.. It protects the finish.. And i like the look..

But in guitars, it's personal prefferance

  • i like it off but i don't want to scratch the finish :-)

  • whatever feels best for you. I left it on

  • Don't, because the pickguard, as the name sugests, it's used to protect the finish from scratches of the pick, you can remove it when the guitar is old and you feel you had enough of the pickguard :p .

  • I plan on getting this guitar someday in the future. Been playing for only about 7 months, so I'm still a beginner. Plan on getting a black Epiphone Les Paul.

  • mixujem si to teras s dramačom a je to popičofka

  • oh and dude answer me on this one..

why did you removed to pickgrad

  • i like it this way...without pickguard the guitar seems "cleaner" to me. and also for me it was totally un-usefull

  • that guitar is awsome i have ax400 custom with floyd rose.. and this guitar i also have and it suprised me very good!!!

  • I NEED TABS :D Please? Can you give me?

  • why don't you just watch him play it, you can see everything he is playing.

  • im to lazy to make notes by myself :P Anyway thanks to my friend now i have all :P

  • Awesome dude. Seriously. You look and play totally METAL and the guitar is kick ass. :D

  • I prefer "totally ROCK" ;) but thank you anyway

  • lol dont be embarresed about playing metal, just cos u play metal dont mean its all screaming. Most of my mates think that

  • Damn I really want the epiphone les paul standard, but I wouldn't complain with the les paul 100. Awesome playing man.

  • Epiphone makes the only authorized copys of Gibson Les Paul and you can read it in many books about guitars that you can call it an original Les Paul!!!

  • hell yeah ;)

  • amp combination ?

    awsome playing !

  • wow. that sounds nasty.

  • I'm getting one of these really soon. Those pickups sound great on that guitar, And I love the style your playing, it's perfect for the tone.

  • awesome job man, this is really cool

  • good job

  • YEah!

  • Are those pickups super distortion? What kind of Dimarzios are they.I want to get a Les Paul and get rid of my Dean EVO/XM sucks.I'love Ace Frehley is the 100 a good guitat and does it stay in tune well. Thanks please let me know if it's worth the money although i really want a les paul standard.

  • dimarzio steve´s special

100 is great - yeah, worth!!

  • Hippy

  • YOU INSPIRE ME!

  • that is a a really awesome tone...love the crunch

i was thinking about getting this guitar. if i change the stock pickups, will this guitar sound awesome? and what passive pickups would you recommend for a good crunch at a decent price thnx

  • its actually a very good guitar. trust me. The pickups are actually not too bad. I have a vid of me playing it right out of the box; see for your self.

  • Yeah i am getting my first electric guitar in a week. I've been playing acoustic for about a year now and i am tired of it. Wat guitar should i get Epiphone Lp100 or Epiphone SG 310? And which amp is good for thos guitars that is under 200 dollars? Plz comment back! Thnx!

  • dude...choose whats best for you! ;)

and dont know how much costs amps in your city, I´m from Europe ;) and especialy from country, where there prizes are a lot higher, so cant help, sorry. try as much amps as possieble and choose one

KEEP ON ROCKIN IN THE FREE WORLD

  • I actually have a pretty good sounding setup right now. I would go for the lp-100 w/ a line 6 spiderIII amp. Total comes to around 400~500 bucks. What a deal!

  • nice playing!!! i got the same exact guitar and the same exact color.

  • you are a legend of rock

  • wow!

    thanks a lot :)))

  • can you remove the pickguard?

  • of course :D

there are just two scrues holding it..

  • buah!

    let´s create "les paul 100 fanclub" :D:D

  • that´s a good idea!!!

  • I have the same :) really good guitar !!!

  • really good. what amp u useing

  • epiphones to me are just as good as gibsons in sound. pretty much the difference of gibson is the name, the wood and that tis made in the USA

  • i'm gettin some seymours in mine. :-)

  • i'm really new to guitar. how hard is that to play?

  • i's easy man

  • "the real beauty is in easyness" ;)

  • extremly

  • Im kind of new too, i have been playing for about a year, but it looks kind of easy, just have to practice

  • sounds good!really good guitar!

  • What kind of DiMarzio pickup is that?

  • True that. I'm looking to up my LP100 and those sound AWESOME.

  • Know exactly what you mean dude. Ya know Guns N' Roses, I never knew Buckethead was the lead guitarist 2000 to 2004, and still is! Least guy you expect to be in GNR, ya know?

  • do you know whtas that white triangle called?

  • what the hell are you guys saying? hate it when people say your hair is too long. god it drives me freaking crazy. anyway i got an Epi SG G-400 too. really nice! =)

  • dont care about it ;) it was just a joke

    Epi RULES!!!!

  • co ti jebe ty si slovak?? :D lol

kde si zohnal tu gitaru? :)

  • heheee :D nazdarek

    z muzikeru...proc?

  • I have some questions about this guitar.. are the stock pickups good? when you removed the pickguard, did you put the screws back? would it be good for GnR- style leads?

  • read comments

  • Well, all Les Pauls have the similar sound that Slash has when he plays, you know, like that Sweet Child O' Mine sound! The stock pickups have an alright sound, kind of a little dull and fuzzy. I personally thing that the Les Paul looks better with the pick guard off. If you have more of a plain finish, not like the sunbursts. When you take it off, you probably should put the screws back in so you can't see the holes!

    =)

  • holes are pretty smal, so you even dont see them...in my vview.

yeah, with the pick guard off it looks like more "cleaner" - just string, body and elektronics...if you know what i mean ;)))

  • i have the same guitar, i took the pickguard off also

    sweet video by the way

  • nice guitar work, im in to stuff thats a little heavier, do u still recommend it?

  • (Old man voice)

    Cut yur hair Ya Hippie

    :P

    Lol

  • lol :P, or better ROFL! :D

  • :D

Im kidding about the hair though...

I hate it when adults tell us to cut our hair even when its JUST over the ears

  • Les Pauls are like the greatest guitars this world will ever see. love mine, thinking about maybe getting a Lp 100. Recomend any good pickups for it? I've played one before, and the stock pups sound bad and that perticular guitar sucked, so is the neck nice and small?

  • that´s only true ;)

well, (as I wrote before) i´ve there steve´s special and air zone. steve sounds great ;) but air zone wasn´t the best choice..

neck is something in the middle...not too thin, not too big. for me ideal ;) and the body is smaller, so you have everithing "closer" to you

  • awesome! gunna get this guitar... Too bad that the vid sound quality is bad... nice job tho... you're good... but I think you could play something more impressive... good vid tho... 5/5

  • heyyy!!!! really good!!!

    5/5 stars!!!

i would like to know if you are pleased with Epiphone LP 100 sound generally!! :P

i want to buy one and i would just wanna know if it worths! :P

    (sorry for my broken english)

    thank u!

  • well...you should read more

if you didn´t yet, just let me revise...

    i´m very satisfied with my guitar..after pick-ups replacement :))

    go for it ;)

  • what di marzio's are these? i recently bout lp 100, thinking about changing the pickups

  • brindge - steve´s special

    (neck - air zone...but i´m thinking about changing it..want to buy? :D )

  • ???

  • joking time ;)

  • hey man im thinking of getting a guitar like this and i play Metalcore and tend to beat really hard on my instruments. is this tough and solid? i have a Dean VX but i find when im throwing it around the neck tends to bend... do you think this mat be better? how do pinch harmonics come out on the stock pickups? thanks. sick playing btw

  • well, this is a les paul, so it has really solid body. i think it could be used as you want, but the stock pickups won´t be satisfying for you :) after replacement (maybe some active pickups) it will be really great ;) go for it

  • nice im definitely gettin this guitar

  • i have the same guitar the les paul is incredible

  • Yeah I ordered this guitar recently.. I heard it's great for beginners and experts.. Good crunch that the Les Pauls are known for and stability to match.. Am I right?

  • oh hell yeah!! ;)

only thign to do is to replace the pick-ups and that will be it :)

    i love my les-paul 100!!!

  • Dude im so getting this freaking guitar Do u think this would be a good beginner guitar??

  • oh yes i do!!

and after pickups change good also for advanced players...

  • Hey Guys, turns out I got the Les Paul Standard Plus-Top at Sam Ash. I got an amazing deal on it, 400 bucks! What a bargain. Well, thanks for your advice tho =D

  • what if i get the lp100 and put a set of EMG's on it?

  • GREAT!! =p

  • How much are a set of Emg's?

  • And also, the G-400 is pretty good I guess but the Les Paul has pretty similar electronics with a deeper, warmer tone. The heavy weight and wood of the body really increases that tone. G-400 I would get it you're into more heavy metal st00f. Les Pauls are VERY versatile though.

  • hey guys ive been looking for a new guitar, im looking at the epiphone les paul special, SG G400, and the LP-100, and a little at the LP studio. what do you guys recommend? I've been playing for about a year now.

  • Hmm. Unless you don't mind the crappy finishes I'd take the studio. It's really worth the extra bucks. But the LP-100 has FAR cooler finishes. A little lower quality, but eh it's not a big deal if you're looking to feel good when you play it (Some guitars that look like crap just don't make it fun) But DO NOT get the Special. It's electronics and materials and horrible. Gets out of tune easy, doesn't have the 4 knobs for customizing each pickup, so really, just bad features.

  • very good

  • how much did you pay for it it sounds great i'm thinking about getting one for a darker tone because i play the sg it certainly looks worth the money

  • Hey im thinking about getting this guitar for 150 quid. is that worth the guitar?, it sounds pritty amazing i tryied the studio but no local guitar shops have one in
