Why are we asked to link our google email with youtube? I've been logging into youtube with my gmail address for a few years I think and it's asking me now to link it or else my account will be removed? The funny thing is that email from youtube says: "Dear(or is it: Hi there?) [gmail username part of email]...bla bla bla something like: could you link your youtube account with google?"

It already uses part of my gmail address and youtube is asking me to link youtube with gmail??? o_O

I think you've missed some important points in this email

a) often the emails *don't* ask for information; they send you to a website that does.

b) a lot of the scams are not based on greed, i.e. "too good to be true" doesn't apply.

c) email addresses are easily spoofed

You should make another video that includes the following points:

Spam and phishing emails...

a) rarely include your real name

b) often send you to websites that look identical to the official website, but use a different URL
