Yes I am playing in standard tuning in the key of E. The hook, starts with G#, then I play the G and high E strings together sliding up the fretboard, then to the A, then back to the E.  It's very difficult to put into words. Several people have asked me this question. I hope this explanation helps. Good luck with it.

You appear to be playing in E - I cannot quite get the transition G#m to F (the hook) - can you tell me how you finger it? Or is this an open D tuning or some other?
