  • I've had this episode on VHS since it aired (dating myself) and I could watch Tony do his Chippendale act 500 times and it NEVER GETS OLD! hahahaha

  • 4:16 is my favorite Paul Merton line ever.

  • The people I cannot stand in the UK version (although it is the better version) are Paul Merton, Sandi Toksvig and Mike McShane. They are just so overrated.

  • "You've come as Tony Slattery!" Haha, close enough, Paul.

  • So that's where the American Whose line film Noir Music came from ;p So much better than what they used for The UK film Noir.

  • Oh look, it's the birth of the _proper_ film-noire, with the right score and all - and it wasn't done by Ryan & Colin! :O

  • 'Got any Twiglets?' LOLOL

  • So these 2 guys just invented the game Narate. That was fabulous!

  • @crebegea lol - Narrate's actually been played before this, but I forget whether that music was used or not! of course as soon as it came on during Scene To Music I was like, "it's the narrate music!" and suddenly had a flashback to Ryan kissing Colin...

  • hah the film noir skit was funny!

  • I've noticed that Tony doesn't wear pants... He must have done the Chippendale thing before, he's so bloody good at it.

That, coupled with the looks Paul was throwing at him, is creating a very smutty plot-bunny named Vincent in my head.

  • @kileXemoXboy er... named Vincent?

  • Believe it or not, my favorite part of watching Whose Line has now become the youtube comments; I tickles me that many of these comedians are lustfully and lovingly discussed. A sense of humor is an often underrated and often overlooked element of attraction, so it's refreshing to read these comments. :)

  • I love this show (both UK and US versions, for all you haters out there) and this is one of my favorite episodes. Tony's March was fantastic. I have no idea what "Good Morning with Anne and Nick" is, but that line cracks me up every time I hear hear it. Just goes to show how important delivery is to comedy, and these four are all excellent!

  • @RavenoftheBlack Good Morning with Anne and Nick was a BBC talk show. Pretty much the equivilent of Regis and Kathy Lee in the states (at the time).

  • I'd pay fifty quid for Tony's chippendale show

  • Is Tony not wearing any underpants? x] I can't really make out whether he is or isn't..

  • @EenvoudigGek Maybe he had strings just like Wane Brady in US version in one of the episodes

  • @DzikiHL

It's possible, but I doubt it... It doesn't

    quite sound like Tony :P

  • Tony's done that before, hasn't he?

  • You've come as Tony Slattery!

  • It's a pity this was Paul's last episode. I thought he was absolutely hilarious. =(

Tony's quirk was AWESOME. XD I loved how the ladies in the audience went all wild (can't blame them).

  • I can't blame them either. Being a chippendale just seemed so natural for him XD it's cause he's a stud

  • Tony....i mean....WOW....i'm all breathless now!

Paul's farewell episode. At least he was given and gave a lasting impression on this show.

"You've come as Tony Slattery!" XD I LOVE THEM BOTH!

  • Whoa, when that music came started in Scene to Music, a picture of Ryan and Colin with the US background for Whose Line popped into my head. lol

*Striking stripper poses* "Have yo got any twiglets?" XD

Tony's party quirk was beyond brilliant! ^_^

  • ha ha tony :D what we've all been waiting for for 5 seasons :P

  • Tony Slattery WHOOP!!!!!!!!

    I love him!!

  • I find that this episode kind of has an earlier-season feeling to it, due to some of the games played (March, Authors) and the cast used.

  • Thats strange... The music seems so familiar during "scene to music". Do I need a Narrate?

  • The game Narrate was spawned by Jim Sweeney and Steve Steen doing Scene To Music

  • @evansakidrums but Jim and Steve played Narrate in the previous season, before Scene to Music.

  • Oh god, Tony in Party Quirks was HOT!!! Bloody hell!!! And then Paul made that round even more brilliant with "You've come as Tony Slattery!"

AND Jim and Steve were great in the credits! I need to watch this clip again.

  • omg I know right!!!! I replayed that over and over. He is really hot!!

  • As far as I know, this marks the last appearance of Paul Merton on the show.

And though I'm glad he at least went with a "bang" - I think he was just great in this episode - I also think that's a shame.

He was of my favorite contestants on the show.

Pity, that they never got him on the US-show -

Him or anyone else from the "old cast", Josie Lawrence aside for a couple of episodes.

  • hahaha, "you've come as tony slattery!"

  • Hey, it's the music from the film noir game! That was pretty hillarious.

Man... Tony. That was darn random

  • Oh, I love this Party Quirks...Tony as a Chippendale! so very sexy!

  • They really turned that into a Film Noir, haha.

omg! Tony! ahaha, that is myfavoritethingevernow. =D WOW. That had me cracking up! SEXY!

  • I imagine the real thing will be a letdown after seeing this clip but what is a chippendale?

'You've come as Tony Slattery!' 'Close enough!'

  • The Chippendales are a group of (male) erotic dancers, basically.

  • According to wiki they are no longer running the owner died in 1994, which is why I guess kangamoo has never heard of them.

  • 'Owner' sounds a bit sinister.... :D

I'd heard the name 'Chippendale' I just didn't know exactly what they were - for some reason ice skaters came into my head! Thanks for the info!

  • The term "Chippendale" has come to mean any kind of male stripper.

  • can't believe i havent seen that party quirk on youtube before

  • wow. tony was SEXY! haha :P
