i have raced for about 11 years and i have been able to see just as much as this shows. you know the human eye has a perifial (spell check) veiw and thats what their trying to show you can see more then whats just infront of you

The concept is nice, but the horrific Fish-Eye ruins it. It grossly overexagerates height and depth, and distorts straight lines very badly.

With a "normal" camera view, you couldn't even be able to see another rider until they were almost directly in front of you. The 170 degree view makes you feel like you are actually riding.

There's one aspect that's good, actually.

However, with the correct lenses, you can almost get the same field of view, and eliminate a lot of the Fish-Eye. The idea is to balance the Fish-Eye, with geometric distortion (stretching) from straightening the edges.

I just got a 2010 CRF450R with Fuel Injection and it's a fucking beast... And I'm not just saying that. I shit myself when floored it for the first time in 3rd gear!
