yeah youre right i had something wrong in mind. but it was rod millen in his celica. anyways i still like röhrl or vatanen more than those guys in newer cars and a lot more technic

Nope.
Because some parts are now paved, its actually harder to achieve a good time, because the tyres heat up too much and are worse later on.
When it was all dirt it was easy.

also, dirt tyres are crap on asphault, asphault tyres a crap on dirt. Unless there's something I'm missing...

yes, sadly. :( Because some tree huggers got pissed that a plant was "dying" because of the dirt. Soon the whole road will be paved :(

It was but it will never be dirt again..... Tajima would have broken it last year with a lot less tarmac but the weather didn't allow.
