  • So /when/ did he kick the bucket?

  • Very beautiful cemetery and the headstone and monuments of Col. Sanders are very nice and classy. Peaceful grounds, lots of tranquility. Serene.

But I still hate KFC food. Horrible stuff, stay away from it. Far away.

  • I'm kinda embarrassed to say that I didn't know Colonel Sanders was a real person... I thought he was just a marketing character like Cap'n Crunch. Whoops!

  • @kmenglish Ha!

  • I read that he choked to death on his fingers.

  • I call him a man of mystery he did alot of things in his life time before he became famouse for his chicken,,I found out that he piloted a staemboat ferry down the ohio river Im tryin to find more info on that,,if any one has any Idea where I can find out more on colonel sanders days of what year he was a steamboat pilot and how old he was when he did that,,I had herd that he had a steamboat company,,what happened to it,any pictures of pilot sanders at the wheel,,let me know

  • when i visited there i say floating chickens, some HEADLESS, i swear! course it was directly after we stopped at the jim beam distillery.

  • This cemetery is amazing ...I spent the entire afternoon there a few years back when visiting from Chicago....

  • Col.Harland Sanders was a FreeMason and a good man. He helped many people.

he's a legend, just like Winston Churchill. Pity Churchill didn't leave a tasty legacy behind, probably would have been egg and bacon.....

  • Who is the photo of on the side?

  • I would've brought him a 12 piece bucket and set it there...

  • great next we should see ronald mcdonalds grave

  • ITS A PITY THAT AS YOU WALK UP TO HIS GRAVE A VOICE SAYS "CAN I TAKE YOUR ORDER PLEASE"

  • Lame dude, so very lame.

  • you suck dude

  • nice comment

  • should of ate a box of KFC by his grave stone

  • nice!

  • u r a dick! "extra crispy' what the fuck man? you are at his grave asshole. u will burn in hell u fatass.

  • I've been here many times. My great-grandparents are buried right across the drive from the Colonel. You can see where they are, right around 1:52, down the hill behind the white statue. Thanks for sharing this!

  • Why is everyone getting so defensive over Harland, yes he made nice chicken, SO THE FUCK WHAT?!?!

  • He made some awesome KFC

  • You think you're SO funny. That man fed your parents when you weren't in existence.

  • The "extra crispy" comment was pretty tacky.

  • Fuck you and your disrespectful "extra crispy" shit. I hope the bowels of hell have a special place for you to turn YOU "extra crispy" when you pass.

  • I've been to this grave. There is a yellow line on the road from the entrance to the cemetery to Sander's gravesite, you can see it at 1:48 President Zachary Taylor is buried in another cemetery just across town.

  • Your video is interesting, but you sir are soo disrespectful in your comments. You make me sick!!

  • thanks for all the video really cool

  • OMG THATS INCREDIBLE!!!!

  • What were you expecting at a grave site other than a grave? Groovey? I hate to get your thoughts on Bobby Kennedys burial site. Jerk!

  • wtggg you go to a mans grave and make a stupid joke class act

  • Was it finger lickin' good?

  • just wondering did you ever get to visit Princess Diana yet ??? and where is she beried?

  • As I recall....Elizabeth Huelette (MissElizabeth from the old WWF) is also buried beside her grandparents in Kentucky.

Not quite sure where, but in Kentucky somewhere. I thnk her grave would be pretty cool site to see.

  • Have you visited jack bennys grave yet

  • We have. We visited Jack in 1997. We have photos on our website, but didn't take any video. We are headed back to Hollywood in January and may get a second chance then.

  • @death2ur do you have lucille ball's or selena's ?

  • What is it like being able to travel all around visiting gravesites? Do you ever get scared or have funny feelings? I mean Ghosts?

  • Yes, it involves a lot of different emotions. On a number of occasions we have arrived at old cemeteries at dusk and it is a very forboding feeling. Some of the graveyards have large, gothic tombstones where you can almost get lost. We were at the spot where Stevie Ray Vaughan died in a helicopter crash and supposedly his ghost and others haunted the ski lodge where he died. At night we walked the grounds and it was very eerie. But, it is also a very powerfully uplifting activity at times.

  • @death2ur

that would be Alpine Valley in East Troy Wisconsin ...the site of many lost grateful dead weekends and a motley crue video shoot (same ol' situation) for me

  • 100 bucks they buried a copy of his secret spices with him

  • there is not secret spices, they say all that shit to sell more.

  • KFC! epic.

  • You'll excuse it toddsmitts? Since when have you had any say in what happens on other people's vids? Learn to speak to people first it helps.

  • Maybe it's me, but I think KFC's gone downhill. I don't think the Colonel would approve. I still love me some hot wings though! The extra crispy line wasn't in very good taste but I'll excuse it.

He wasn't a real conolel but a "Kentucky colonel", an honorary title give to notable people. Others awared the title are Muhammed Ali, Tiger Woods, Winstron Churchill, Babe Ruth, Johnny Depp, John Glenn, Bob Hope, LBJ, Elvis, Pope John Paul II, Norman Schwarzkopf, Jeff Foxworthy, and Whoopi Goldberg.

  • Harlan Sanders actually did serve a hitch in the U.S. Army, but he was an enlisted man, and I would assume, a cook.

death2ur: When I first saw that bust in your profile, I mistook it for V.I. Lenin.

  • i mis took him for robert e lee LOL

    R.I.P. COLONEL SANDERS

  • Who's that boy in the picture in 0:36?

  • I think the Museum would be in Corbin kcnccarolina

  • Woaa about got dizzy in the spin, th u, nice vid. Do they have museum there too in that town? Hopefully with some samples of chicken when i come :)

  • Sit down and take a deep breath. I do believe they have a museum including his home, not completely sure. We didn't have time to try and visit it.

  • where do u where these ppl are burried at

  • I think you're asking "how do we know where they are buried?" We have a few sources we use, a couple of books and a website. Also, sometimes we have to research on our own by calling cemeteries.

  • Cool video. Would be interesting if you guys included some biographical info to the videos. Anyway you guys gotta make a trip up to Detroit sometime. I'd be more than happy to show you guys some notable grave sites. Just let me know a week or two in advance. I got the goods on gangsters, military figures, inventors, a few celebs, Motown musicians, etc.

  • We often include biographical information on the website. We try to make the videos so they are re-watchable. People would have to hear the same info over and over. Some of the more famous, everyone usually knows all the basics already. Hey, if we get to Michigan, we definitely will look you up.

  • thank you for the video, your comment was a little uncalled for rude and disrespectful, but thank you for posting this so others can see.

  • "i'd like to see the colonel." "oh he dead i tell ya, he dead." "you mean i came all the way to kentucky to try this chicken and he ain't even working today!" "he dead i tell ya, he dead." no disrespect, love ya colonel.

  • I respect this man but Popeyes has better chicken lol

  • too bad the secret recipe wasnt inscribed on the tombstone stone.

  • man and all this time i thought he was in the back kitchen still fryin chicken dang lol jk

  • do u think he's 'rolling over in his grave' cuz of the grilled chicken now. lmao.

  • They may have to change it to KGC instead of KFC.

  • xtra crispy! haha, classic!

  • kentucky fried chicken we do chicken RIGHT..i always remember that jingle
