  • Anyone who can cover Tommy Emmanuel and not disappoint me is a fucking genius

  • fuck you sungha, i hate you. you make my feel like breaking my guitar and hanging myself aftewards, you piece of shit

    just kidding i wuuuuuv you

  • poor kid burnt his fingers

    just kidding nice playing

  • Does he have his guitar signed? Cuz who else would sign it that's better than him?

  • What are on his right fingers?

  • @MusicIsMyLife6991, hi, Alaska Pick

  • I wish I could play that song :( I enjoy listening but I would enjoy playing much more :(

  • Way Cool

    Thanks for sharing

  • I'd say his parents made him start playing when he was old enough to coordinate his finger movement. I'm just saing, it's not an uncommon thing in China. I'm just saying, he doesn't look like he's playing from his heart, you know?

  • @TheSvantini: To me, it does. You have to notice the subtle movements and expressions, to me he's a child who's pouring his heart out through an instrument. He was not forced to play. Please don't assume things. He's not Chinese either, he's South Korean.

  • @SharonGuitar500 Well I think that is very naive of you, and that's fine.

  • @TheSvantini That's a little unfair considering Chinese people don't have hearts. XD

  • Wow again!

  • What a beautiful song, I am truly mesmorized by the talent this young man has. I am a musician myself, and I am in awe of how he can play. Unbelievable. My stressful day suddently turned into a peaceful moment of thought and reflection - in just 5 minutes!

  • Or child labor..

  • @Zopiate Sungha was not forced to play guitar by his parents or anyone else. He learned by look at the video and by ears all by himself,... sometimes he used tab if available. :)

  • Insert racist comment about Asians being good at everything.

  • i'd like to see him play tall fiddler

  • you can clearly tell how much more fluid tommy is with his playing, this version was too sloppy for me. sorry kid

  • @TheSonIke Yeah, you're right. But Tommy has had 50 more years to practice;-) Give the kid a break, he's great!

  • Great playing girl!

  • Bravo!

Who are these 64 tasteless people who doesn't like this?

  • I think the Eastern philosophy is on to something here. The brain holds many secrets we have only begun to understand.

  • " I Like"

  • this kid is the BOMB! Do you hear me? You Rock Sungha.

  • Apparently he came out of the womb with those finger picks attached

  • 00:00

  • This is impossible.

  • Awesome mate.!!!!

  • It looks like this guitar was signed by someone. What does it say?

  • i like how he finishes off wth the only chord i could recognize -____-

i hate this kid but at the same time am so impressed with him, i wish i had an ounce of this kids talent...

  • dude, you're playing it about 20 bpm's too fast, slow it down and it'll sound way better.

  • Anyone can play a great piece of music.... but it takes an genius to create a good piece of music that sparks interest in those who listen to it :)

Awesome, you should write your own pieces!

  • Tommy would be proud! Keep it up, hope to see you in concert some day!!!

    B^)

  • One of the future greats!

  • Hey Tommy Emmanuel, take off the little kid disguise! ; )

  • you're a master !! ;D

  • Its really hard to fathom such depth from such youth. I guess thats why they call them a prodigy. What a beautiful piece.

  • lol at people thinking its with the cd, nobody can sink that good :/

  • A little known fact: Sungha has a very rare disease that makes him look 9 years old. He is actually a 55 year old man who has practiced daily for 45 years.

  • @maestroenterprises ha ha -- good one

  • @maestroenterprises - agreed !

  • @maestroenterprises is it true? There's nothing about this news on the web...

  • @maestroenterprises Are you sure? I cant find anything about it nothing on biographies either

  • @KittyMooKat loool he was kidding mate !

  • @maestroenterprises Anyway, with so small fingers he's doing well! Thumbs up for this guy!

  • Comment removed

  • @maestroenterprises He's 15 you idiot.

  • @maestroenterprises No, you can see in all of his video changes at his face in time.

in first clip he is about 8 year old and he have clips when concert and he is like 13 - 14 years old

  • @maestroenterprises LMFAO :)

  • Comment removed

  • I wonder how long it took for Sungha to learn this

  • @unzpk Probably 4 minutes and 34 seconds

  • @winkerscorner True, true

  • The kid's got talent, but no emotion. He won't even be in the same universe as Tommy for a while, if ever.

  • @MrBasZZ Waiting patiently for your video playing any of this song. You can even leave out the part in question, at least then we can see that obviously you are an amazing guitarist, which you seem to be :)

  • I bet, except his guitar life, he gets no freedom at all.

  • @SonnyTheJolly but, playing like that he can travel everywhere, and know a lot of pple and bla, bla, bla... idk

  • Sungha's talent deserves a better guitar...something not so tinny.

  • @billtruttschel

this is a normal acoustic guitar

  • @MrBasZZ atleast he tried

  • Outstanding.

  • WOW!!

  • For all you haters out there, this kid will be as good and maybe better than Tommy once he gets a few more years under him. The fact that he is this good at this age just means he's only going to get better with age. Then he'll probably start doing his own arrangements and laugh at you tools who can hope wish you were as good.

  • I don't care if he's not Tommy! He's like 8!and better than anyone I know hands down! He could work with me anytime any place! Fabulous kid! Bravo!

  • This little guy is a master of guitar jeez.

  • I just think that it's a shame that he doesn't make his own arrangements :-/

  • I bet if he redo this now, it's even closer to what Tommy Emmanuel did...

  • WHY !? god...

  • B-R-A-V-O !!

  • Doing a cover for a guitar great such as Tommy Emmanuel is very hard to do! I am very impressed at such a young age that this guitarist would attempt such a feat! Very good!! I applaud you!!! *Applause*

  • Sh*t....

  • Good, but far from Tommy :)

  • Fucking ugly gook.

  • I am playing guitar for 42 years , after I have seen this young guy i think i give away my guitar!! Young man all the best to you!!!!!

  • very very very good

  • he has his emotion its just going crazy internaly while appearing calm on the outside grt talent well done.

  • great skill but no emotion.

  • @blueduderanch

    he's 10!... good luck

  • @wverch07 good luck what?

  • Fucking niceee

  • sei una bestiaaaaaaaa wowowowowowow

  • wow

  • Very well done - amazing talent.

  • it took me 2 years to be able to play this song at normal speed. although i never practiced or tried to figure out the song daily bcoz i know this is not a playing technique i could master easily. but now i am so happy that i can play this song.

  • so um im just gonna diein a hole now...

  • Sometimes the difference between a 'not a good day' and a 'good day', is finding something that makes you stop for a moment and just smile. This young mans talent is that: An unexpected gift.

For those you can only find something negative in his gift, to pick apart and criticize; how sad you hold yourself back from enjoying a freely given gift.

Why not just relax and just enjoy the moment?

  • @gulfgypsy first of all, you can't help but smile when you listen to that young man's guitar playing, however he tends to play a bit staccato when he plays the songs that you really need to get you head around and feel what you play. he's frikken awesome now'a'days though. and btw you guys should check out midwalkband if you are amazed by this guy.. Keep it up sungha!

  • while we were shoving crayons up our nose and eating crayons, sungha was kicking ass

  • Who signed his guitar?

  • Inspiring. mrpaboy69 I completely agree with you, the feeling is mutual.

  • jakews234, and you're just a dumbass who's trolling.

  • This boy has all the flair of the late Michael Hedges in his PINKEY.

Makes one very humble, very fast .

  • Jealous much? You guys must be blind, he is clearly pouring his heart out to each and every song he plays.

  • He's quite a mechanical player, although he is AMAZING, he seems to be not showing his emotion in playing through his body and not just playing...

  • 3 idiot's comment below me is the "epitome" of ignorance and stereotype. This kid fucking rocks. Where are your ears in feeling his emotion through his music? Typical comments from jealous mfs...

  • the epitomy of child labor hahaha no feel just technical precision lika fine tuned machine. Good nonetheless i suppose

  • Total agreement with Sparruw!

  • Awesome Technique no feeling. I'm off!!!

  • Did anyone saw the japanese being not genius or awesome?

    I guess not

  • @NoZ117

But reading the tabulator for this song is hell!

I wish there were a vid TUT

  • You little tallented mf...:D

  • dammit, why are asian people so dam good at music and videogames? why can´t you be a little more laid back? i mean, at he´s age the most amazing thing i could do was push my bellybutton inside up

  • Playing for just two or so years. I'm shocked...Seriously.....

  • I AM SO HATING THESE COMMERCIALS.....

  • JUST LOOK AT HIS HANDS FORCRYINGOUTLOUD!!!

  • ._.

  • Guys like this make us look bad :)

  • I am sure that whoever disliked this video do not want to accept the fact that this kid is extremely talented...

  • wow i feel so incredible untalented right now -_-

  • i hate this kid because im jealous of his talent

  • Misses all the nerve though :-)

  • @d0115042 What you have said is so true.

  • how much years he played?

  • @ALX4400 I think he started at 3 or 5. I couldn't remember.

  • @ALX4400: Here, he had been playing for about 2 years and a half (slightly more). He's been playing since early 2006, he was 9 when he started.

  • Keep practising one day you will play it like Tommy does.

    Keep it up

  • whats the tuning for this song?

  • @jhuffguitarist7 Standard EADGBE.

  • Alguem sabe aonde consigo estes dedais pros outros dedos sem ser o polegar? Achei o máximo, mas, ainda não encontrei pra vender...

  • Bravo MAn...!!!

    Amazing...

    hats off to you man

  • Really amazing.

  • good thing he can rock out on guitar, he's gonna get so much pussy that he wouldn't have gotten. lol

  • I bet he can play every song on every CD behind him.

  • @ModelOrange -____- those are dvds....

  • @ColtonSaylor713 Fine but he can play all the soundtracks to every movie. :)

  • good job!

What is really astonishing about that guy, is his repertory, which I think contains like 300 songs. And not just singing and playing chords, but rather difficult stuff like this song. I'm wondering if he attends school, cause he must be practising soo much, to be able to play so many songs. Anyway, what he absolutely needs to learn is shredding, cause he either leaves those parts in songs or he plays them really sloppy. Apart from that, keep it up!

  • Oh man, get rid of those stupid alaska piks and grow your nails out, or atleast work up some callouses. I Tried those things for 5 minutes and threw them in the garbage. Good playing otherwise

  • @bigdjindustriez He might not be allowed. He lives in Korea, I know in many countries in school every moerning students nails are checked, because they are not allowed to be long. His school may be like this!

  • @bigdjindustriez: He has to keep his nails short, that's why he uses them. And maybe he doesn't like the sound of just flesh. I personally don't because the notes aren't as clear without nails or picks.

  • WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Yeahh! man, a great job

  • my bad sungha i as in a bad mood that day and i wish u the best in the feauture for your playing :)

  • My God, that kid's awesome.

  • Asian robot!

  • No matter how good you are at something, there will always be an asian doing it better

  • ridiculous :O

  • That lil' dude can JAM!!!

  • great job!

  • i wanna be like you sungha!

  • Good God.... this is just a terrific performance! You rule Sungha.

  • Why don't you stop seeing this video if you can't bear to watch? Hmm?

  • @lfcman09 wtf are you talking about this MASTER uploding videos every few days

you know how hard it is to get to prefection like tommy?????????????

he manage to play it awsome in couple of days he is nothing but amazing!

  • @lfcman09 Yeah, and I bet you can play better than this kid. -.- Please, just shut up dude.

  • all you can do right now is be amazed of this kid and wonder how its possible that such people can do these things on such a young age... THAT would take me.. a lifetime

  • oh...my....god. This is absolutly amazing. I'm speachless.

  • There may be mistakes, but for Sungha (12 in this video) to be playing a Tommy Emmanuel piece with such skill is amazing...

  • ok i'm just off to burn my guitar and the kill myself!!!!

  • @MrPaboy69

LOL! Exactly what I was thinking.

This kid is beyond amazing! Wow!!

  • i think this is amazing

  • I can't believe people arn't only saying amazing things about this young musician, Tommy Emmanuel songs are far from easy, and for someone so young he is nailing it, in 10 years this kid is going to be unbelievable, loved it =)

  • What are you all talking about he played it great 5 *****

  • are you guys actually critiqueing him?... no one can play as flawless as tommy, and old or young this cover is amazing. perfection is boring. and as far as my ears go the music sung is making is absolutely breath taking.

  • Dear Sung,

I saw you perform with tommy E. he's a pro and no one will say he's out of tune. you should follow his lead rather that he follow you...

the mistake was you are a perfectionist that the only problem with you... be in a stage with a pro, you have to understand how he plays..your fan..ronnie77

  • Dear Sung,

you're almost there, remember Tommy E is using a special kinda guitar, one can never be able to posses. A guitar that can play more than 3 people playing in once go.... keep it up and learn more from the music genius Tommy E.

  • NIce work...you cant blame him for the drops though...tiny hands hahaha....great work from a great guitarist 5*****

  • This is one of the most amazing things I never seen.

A little boy playing a Tommy Emmanuel song (who is one of the best guitar players ever) almost without fails!

  • great!

  • he got the song but kinda struggled through it, which kinda took away the passion from the song. perhaps could've minus the hard parts and sub it with his own

although still a superb young guitarist. best there is

  • he is good, but this was probably a little too hard for him (UNDERSTANDABLE)

  • This young man is a credit to whoever taught him and indeed to himself. The obvious dedication and practice he has given to creating such a wonderful skill at such a tender age can only be admired. He should be congratulated.
