10- Mount the "arm" belts and than take some cloth

11- draw the shape of the shield and leave 8 more free cms at the edges

12- cut

13-Take the previous glue and some plaster

14-Paste the shield shape on the shield

15-Overthrow(?) the cloth and then nail it in the proper way

16-Make a 1:1 glue/water solution and then spread it with the plaster

17-Let dry for a day and than repeat the previous passage for about 10 times

18-Finish

So i can give you all a little translation in english (but remember, i suck in that kind of things) 1-Create a jig/template/guide 2-Take 3 sheets of plywood 4mm thick 3-Put the vinyl glue on both sides you want to paste 4-Put togheter the plywood 5-Secure the sheets with some tape so they won't move 6-Put in a vice for a day 7-Draw a template, place it on the wood and than cut with a hacksaw 8-Use, for the armguard, a 50x25cm leather piece 9-Fill it with sheepskin(?) or some padding (?)

If I understood correctly, you should apply 5-10 layers of PLASTER on top??? I don't speak Italian so can somebody please verify this step.... we're using dulled steel weapons, I can't believe plaster would survive very long...

@fedaykincro Hello, no it isn't plaster, it's a mixture of glue and melted animal bones, and indeed 5 to 10 layers are needed to protect the wood and canvas.
