@kellidahorsegirl We've started calling her "Tricky Nikki" - I modified the bit today by putting latex over the curb chain so it isn't so harsh, and then I had no control. Took the latex off and had too much. She eventually got over it and started jumping more like herself, but it took some time (and she didn't even start trying until the jump got up to 1.40m). She is so difficult sometimes, haha!
@EventerBabe108 She was in a mechanical hackamore with a straight, soft rubber bit, but that's been getting to be not enough to contain her (and yesterday, it was definitely not enough). In this video, she's in a different mechanical hackamore with more of a Waterford-type bit. I'm making some modifications to it so it's not quite so harsh - this was the first time I used it.
