I think your peformance was interesting but there were a few unnecasery pauses through out the piece causing a hault to the beautiful music you were creating. Richter once quoted that a piece is much like a painting, you have to try and make it symetrical.

However I feel this is the way Jeux d'Eau should be played.
"souple, enveloppé de pédales" and not fast-metronomic like Richter !

This was a small church in Washington, DC.. not the best acoustics, but the performance was good

That room is probably the WORST place you could have chosen to perform in as far as accoustics go. But the performance was good anyway
